Just wanted to post this to kinda spread awareness and give ideas to many that want a new console but wanted an alternative route/ save money.

Back in January trade in prices at GameStop were a little inflated due to selling so much during the holidays. It’s still pretty good right now if you want to try.

I bought a ton of consoles on marketplace for cheap to repair and spent a week or two fixing them (easy repairs) and just traded them in after making sure they were good to go.

Trade-in value was a LOT (people like to joke about GS’s trade in, and those jokes are always super outdated and exaggerated lol)

I don’t want to gamble on used for an expensive device, so I got brand new everything. I wouldn’t have really paid for everything like this, but this helped me get it all pretty easily. So if you wanted to upgrade, here’s an idea to do it.

So I just got lucky and got this off of fb marketplace for $650 original retail price . The guy said he had two which I thought was fishy but he agreed to power it on and let me sign into my psn account . I get to his crib and he was a huge weeb ( funko pops , anime posters everywhere ) and lo and behold he has his own ps5 pro . Turns out his uncle bought him one not knowing he already had one . Moral of the story fuck paying $900 go on FB marketplace and find a good deal like I did . But do not accept it without a demo and you signing into your psn account because that’s the only way to tell if it’s stolen or bricked . So happy .

Side note how much do you think I can sell my 1tb OG disk ps5 for ? And what games look sick on the ps5 pro ?

Needed a new tv anyway so came back to console gaming from pc (my 2080 could not handle Crimson Desert at ultrawide).

Adventure games on Pro look incredible! What are some that will look great on OLED?

How many of you actually managed to go all the way through and complete this game? I believe it's one of the best games of this generation. The gameplay is so much fun and the atmosphere is so immersive. Wish more games made use of the Dualsense's features.

I haven't gotten to play any of the PSSR games since the toggle as I've been playing other games at the moment like finishing Expedition 33 and Poker Night Remastered.

For PS4 games, I've either seen a noticeable improvement like in Sleeping Dogs and NIER Automata or saw no difference like in Shadow of War. What have you found when playing with these?

I just picked up my PS5 Pro for about $900 (including the extra controller and tax), but unfortunately without the disc drive for game discs.

Last call before the price hike and likely shelves clearing out by year’s end. I’m absolutely thrilled – finally got my hands on this beauty after all the hype! Can’t stop grinning, time to dive into some epic gaming sessions.

I was playing crimson desert on the ps5 pro today and randomly i was getting graphical problems , i restarted the ps5 pro reloaded the save and i got the same issue i loaded a earlier game save and started getting the same issue , ive attached a video to show what was happening please dont tell me i had to start this game all over again

Since the prices on the PlayStations and the ps portal were going up I decided why not and get a portal before the price increase, And To say I already have a ps5 pro so the performance is already great but remote playing on the ps portal basically gives you the “Max graphic settings” downside it’s 1080p 60 fps but the images still look crisp and colorful, but really this all depends on how good your internet strength is. I’ve been playing for a few days and the battery fully charged last hours which I love the sound it’s alright could be better. But overall it’s a pretty good handheld for being almost 3 years old as well definitely gonna start using it more often. Hopefully Sony decided to wake up and design a new model with an Oled display. less
