Where to buy switches and keycaps

I've already ordered the kit (Leobog Hi75c Pro), and can somebody recommend their go to shop when buying switches and keycaps. Like for example the Keygeek Y2, it's hard to find it in Laz & Shopee and I'm not sure about the quality of PBT keycaps I'm seeing on shopee as well whether it's double shot PBT or sumthn, I've read about leekbrothers in taobao but haven't seen it yet.

Trying to find some deep switch like Keygeek y2, Akko rosewood...

1st time building keyboard, modding

https://preview.redd.it/c5q646m9op0h1.png?width=760&format=png&auto=webp&s=546b9de433708dc6a1a8920d49e6db994722acf0

Planning to build using this kit (Leobog Hi75C Pro?) that I saw in Laz around 1.5k

I'd like to recycle the keycaps from my RK-H81, would it fit?

and also pls recommend some cheap thocky/creamy switches :3

Any tips on how to build on this kit? I've been seeing that it's easy to strip the screws also recommend some youtue tuts with this particular kit.

Budget: 2.5k - 3.5k, What should I buy from here?

Context:

Looking for:

Durable keyboard

Hot-swappable (obviously)

Silent or near-silent switches

Nahanap ko yung store after delving deep sa shopee mall, tapos recommended din siya ng Isa kong peer.

☺️

Trying out some new switches, XVX Whisper

So I’ve had the Mchose Ace 68 Turbo for almost 2 months now and it’s been an absolute blast using it. First time ever owning a somewhat expensive keeb and I’m very impressed with its performance. The stock Mount Tai HE switches are okay though, I like their feel and a decent clack but it’s just a bit too loud. I don’t mind it at home, but it’s definitely bothersome when I bring it outside.

So ever since I started doing some out of house work I wanted to get a quieter switch, and maybe one that feels a bit better for typing. The stock switches felt fine for games but they were a bit slippery and scratchy for typing as well as being a linear switch without much feedback until the sound, making misinputs happen often. So then I started doing research and stumbled upon the XVX Whisper. Around the same time I was also looking for keycaps to replace the stock ones for some more personalization, which is how I saw the switches in the first place.

Their overall build really caught my eye: a Hall effect compatible silent switch with a rubber dome in the same vein as Topre switches? Really quite unique and I’d never tried a proper “silent” build before or topre switches. So I figured it would be a good try. Unfortunately there weren’t that many reviews until recently, so I was mostly doing a blind buy but I know that it’s got some community approval as a Wooting switch. But I did have to wait to buy it because it was out of stock on Shopee.

Fast forward to last week, they finally restocked it and ordered myself 70 switches. And oh my god, absolutely revolutionary for me. Much quieter and creamier in the sound and feel, I can definitely bring it around now. Then the tactility of the rubber dome? Wow, absolutely addicting to type on. Feels quite light and the physical feedback makes typing really satisfying. For gaming purposes, pressing the keys harder & faster makes it feel more like a linear so I don’t feel I’m losing much.

Even with just a short impression, it feels amazing and I could definitely recommend this switch. The only downside I saw was a JPN reviewer saying there are inaccuracies with 0.01mm Rapid Trigger, but worked fine on 0.02mm upwards. If you have an HE/TMR board and were curious about the Topre experience, the Whisper is a very fun switch to try and get that feeling. It’s also just a very good silent switch, cutting off a lot of the noise of Hall Effect switches while also having a subtle thock and slight creaminess.

Any mechanical kb recommendation that is cheap but is durable?

I dont really care about

- sounds (thock or whatever)

- knob / lcd screen

- looks (kahit pangit ok lng)

What i do need is

- separate function keys because i hate having to hold the FN key😑 (75%, TKL, basta may function row)

- tatagal sakin for a few years

Optionally, i'd like for it to be wireless and hotswappable, pero kunf wala ok lng

Legit? - Aula Digital in Lazada

Hi! I’m planning to buy an aula f75 tapos nakita ko to and ang mura niya compared sa shapi. Is this a legit shop? Should I choose COD na lang din ba para i-return ko if di keyboard ang dumating? Minsan lang kasi ako mamili through Laz.

Need advices lang po. Thanks!

As someone who has no experience in soldering, can I DIY yung repair? Found out that one of the sockets got disconnected with the PCB 😅

Yunzii AL80

Just got my very first aluminum mech keeb. Coming from the RK87, Lam-Ang Pro, and Lite (been rotating between these three since the pandemic days), I never really had the chance to upgrade until now.

Grabe pala talaga yung difference in both sound and feel kapag mas premium at mas well-built yung keyboard. Totally ibang experience.

I know I paid a bit more since I had to buy from an overseas seller (ubos na kasi stocks sa local resellers and nearby shops), but honestly, sobrang worth it pa rin for me.

Next stop: a 65% or even smaller aluminum keeb naman. Pero siguro later this year or early next year na lang.

Ayun lang! — Sulitin ko muna ’to. 🫶

Silent Mechanical Keyboard

Planning to buy a a very silent mech keyboard. My plan is to buy a hot swappable base na affordable then buy separate silent switches. Looking for recos on good silent af switches and a good base available sa NCR area. Also planning to visit gameline keys for the silent switches. I know they offer yung pwede mo ibuild but i might go with RK for the base idk. I need advice.
