Hotels

Im going to OL for the first time this year. I’m wondering if I should find a hotel near the park or if something in union square is fine? Can uber/lyft drivers get in/out easily near the festival if I do end up getting something in union square? What do you recommend? Thank you!!

OSL 2019 Beanie

Hey Redditors! I am on the hunt for this beanie. My partner got it at the 2019 Outside Lands music fest, but we lost it on a trip to Barcelona in Jan 2020. In the casino on the beach, to be exact.

We occasionally talk about how it got lost in a pretty cool place, but I'd love nothing more than to find another one for my boo! I've scoured around Depop, Postmark, eBay, you name it, and no luck.

Thank you to anyone and everyone who has any leads or tips! Thank you :)

Working @ OSL?

I have a couple friends who are working for OSL because they already work for the restaurants that are gonna be there. I saw on tiktok people have worked for other food places and vendors too. How do I find opportunities to work for a vendor for the festival? I can’t seem to find anything online. I heard it’s a short 4 hour shift and then you get free admission so i was really interested!

The OC Fans Going to OSL This Year

Anyone else as excited for the double Death Cab and Modest Mouse sets?! I'm definitely gonna make a 'the oc' themed tank top :)

Question on headliners

Never been to OSL before, considering going for a day this year. Do they typically stagger the headliners or do they play at the same time? I would love to go Friday but the main draws for me are Charli and Turnstile and it would really only be worth it if I can catch them both.

Surely with how many stages they have they can stagger the headliners right…right??

quick question about safety, crowd control, and overall logistics

For those who’ve been before, how is it in terms of crowd management at the stages? Does it get overly packed / hard to move between stages, or is it generally handled well?

Also curious about the perimeter and entry process — does it feel organized and controlled, or more loose depending on the event? I’ve personally seen fence jumping and inconsistent enforcement at other festivals before, so I’m wondering if that’s something that happens here or if things are more structured.

Just trying to go in informed and have a smooth (and safe) experience. Appreciate any insight from people who’ve been

First time going, what should I know before going?

Hi all! It will be me and my friends first outside lands and first time going to SF. We both come from a very warm climate state (AZ) and wanted to know is there anything we should be aware of/places to check out beforehand. For reference, we will be staying in the union square neighborhood and wanna know what’s around to eat/do.

2026 Set Time Predictions

Took my shot at set time predictions. Struggled to fill the day on Friday, maybe they add a few artists? Tried to switch it up a little from the other predictions posted.

Where to post Outsidelands housing for rent?

Apologies if this is against the rules (if so I'll take it down). I have a 3BR single family house in Cole Valley (close to Golden Gate Park) that I would consider renting out for the Outsidelands weekend to the right group of people who don't bring the party home. Where is the best place, other than Craigslist, to post housing for this festival? Where do you all go to find rentals if you don't want to do a hotel? Thanks in advance.
