Fly word

It took me a while to finish it, but here it is. If they make an Ori 3, I'd love a world where most of the inhabitants are flying creatures. It would be really cute to see lots of little flying beings around Ori.

I hope you like this new drawing.

Made a dashing mod!

"Exploring a new land! Hopefully this one does NOT have angry owls..."

I found new terrain generation mods on top of a heavenly shader that feels almost similar to the Ori experience but in Minecraft! So far, those weeks of staring at java code to learn is finally starting to pay off.

The dashing mod itself doesn't have wall climbs and breakfalls as shown in the video as it is from other mods though. It does have the similar mechanics: You can reset dashes from touching walls, and you can only dash once on air (though there are no visual effects or sound yet)! And Yes, I adjusted the Ori model to be a little bit shorter and have bigger eyes

The Unity Vulnerability from October 2025 is still not patched

I find it very weird that the devs still didn't update WotW even though it has a vulnerability that gives FULL CONTROL OVER YOUR PC to the attacker. Should we just wait until something happens or try to contact the devs for them to patch it?

My.. Ori Oc? Orisona? Spirit Oc? ????

i don’t even know the correct term for this.. but anyways man.. is it wrong to even post it here

(ignore the stupid text in the images. i write those because i cant focus…)

This is my Ori Oc or whatever its called and her name is Zahavi (זהבי) which in Hebrew means “Golden” or something. I don’t have any actual lore for her yet because I’m too lazy.

anyways, what do you guys think?

I completed the first game, got the last element of light, yet when i return to the save file its still grayed out.

Does it unlock just for the epilogue and the cutscene? (so like the infection vanishing in hollow knight)

Or do i need to do something in the right order? I absolutely love this game and it still being not unlocked will bug me forever.

Thanks!

My girlfriend crocheted me a Lil Ori plushie for my birthday 🥺

Sometimes they sit, sometimes they flop. Either way, I love them so much ❤️

A little platforming section from my upcoming game, Kodama: Slumber of the Gods

Hello everyone!

I’m working on a platforming and melee-combat focused Metroidvania. Your feedback improved the game quite a lot so I thought I’d share some progress.

You can wishlist the game here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4534260/Kodama_Slumber_of_the_Gods/

I previously made a metroidvania called Super Roboy, and a top-down one called Grumpy Jack is releasing next month.

Have a lovely day! Vince

A game like Ori and the Blind forest ?

Is there a game like Blind forest, and i do mean like it. A platform focused game with abilities.

I can only really see platformers that are more combat focused or heavily uses combat. Even the sequel went more combat focused.

Which title should I play first?

Part of me wants to just go simple and play the series sequentially, but then again there are plenty of game franchises where I'd recommend someone starts with the second or third iteration.

I'm a big fan of Hollow Knight and Silksong, and while I do see Silksong as an improvement in most ways, I'd still recommend people play Hollow Knight first since it's just a fantastic game on it's own. Hollow Knight is close enough to Silksong in terms of the overall experience that it doesn't make much sense to jump to the second game just for the improved combat loop and mechanics.

On the other hand, I always recommend Eternal first with the modern DOOM trilogy because it's objectively so much better than the first in just about every single way. DOOM 2016 was great, but Eternal might be the best game I've ever played.

What about Ori? Is it similar to Hollow Knight v Silksong? Or is the second iteration a massive enough improvement in gameplay that I should just start there?

Ginso Tree Escape

I'm a newbie to this series and just started my first playthrough of Ori and the Blind Forest and made it to the Ginso Tree. I died so many times at this part lol. It was an absolute horror playing through this for the first time. I was running for my life while trying to collect the spirit light containers but I persevered through with my sore thumb. It was challenging but fun. I really enjoyed having a heart attack seeing the water rising 😭.

Made a conscript for an Ori conlang!!

I decided to make a conlang for the Ori universe because why not? Every letter is pronounced (so glottal stops yes for example e’e or o’o)

What do you think?
