How can I stop this?
Hi, new user here, I’m cutting 5mm Perspex and trying to dial things in so they don’t warp when cutting, I can’t thicken the thin bit as it’s crucial it’s this size, I’m using the 100w SH-H1060a
Thank you

I have a laser in a shed that gets direct sunlight. I had to buy a proper chiller. The chiller shows a temperature of 17–20°C, which is what I have it set to, but the OMTech laser shows 23–24°C.
I’ve checked that the water is circulating properly, and I can see the flow inside the laser tube. I did notice some very small bubbles in the water, which I assume are coming from the chiller.
I also observed that the OMTech temperature sensor is positioned near the tube, not inside it. So my conclusion is that the laser’s reading reflects the ambient temperature around the tube rather than the actual water temperature, and that I should rely on the chiller’s reading instead of the laser’s.
Can you tell me if I’m right? I need your help—I don’t want to damage the laser within a few days.
