Classic French Omelette.
I tried my hand at a French Omelette today! 🍳 It’s definitely a work in progress, but the texture was so creamy. The inside was also a bit runny. I’m still working on perfecting the fold and keeping the heat low enough to avoid any color. Does anyone have a favorite 'hack' for getting that perfectly smooth, pale yellow finish? Would love some tips from the pros here!
Pastrami, bacon, cheese and green onions and a cheese chip
The omelet may look fine but in actual true it’s not, I had done no research on how to make an omelet and when the bottom was cooked I was completely confused. In the end I had made the omelet but forgot to put the cheese in before, I cut the omelet in half and stuffed the cold cheese in. In the end I had made a disaster.
Story goes back to California and the 80s. As good as I remember it.
The bacon and fried potatoes made this an excellent breakfast.
