[MAP DROP] The Temple of Wisdom — Opening Scene + Dungeon (Crypt)

The scroll feels heavier than it should.

Not because of its size, but because of what it might reveal.

Matriarch Mirtes of House Ostopolos presses it into the hands of three strangers:

Eryr, a blade-for-hire who trusts coin more than causes.

Ramir, a brigand whose painful past is better left buried.

Irul, a masked wanderer who asks too many questions and answers too few.

"I paid dearly for this", Mirtes says, her voice tight, controlled, almost breaking.

"Whatever happened to my son, this might be the only trace left."

By the time the trio steps into the streets, the city is already swallowed by moonlight. Tashar at night is a different creature: quiet, watchful, and full of things that prefer not to be seen.

Their destination looms in the distance:

The Temple Of Wisdom.

Ancient. Abandoned. Avoided.

Once a place of knowledge, now a husk of secrets and silence.

Somewhere within, they believe they'll find Bhur.

Or at least, an answer to his disappearance.

But the streets twist. The shadows stretch. And the path to the temple is anything but safe.

===

I made a dungeon map for the Temple of Wisdom's crypt. Expect collapsing tight corridors, forgotten chambers with secret passages, and things that shouldn't still be alive.

Would love feedback, ideas, or how you would run this scenario at your table.

Ghost Rider Fight

This is a recent piece I worked on for Fading Age, a grim medieval RPG set on the edge of the world’s end, currently in development.

This was a commissioned illustration, I’m not the creator of the project, just responsible for the artwork.

Really fun piece to work on, especially exploring the undead tones and the interaction between the rider and the creature. You can check more about the project with u/Fading_Age

Another commission piece for a fantasy tabletop game. A blend of dark and light details. The castle stands as a single point of light in a world being consumed by darkness. It’s always a pleasure working on projects like this. A huge thank you to the client for the trust!

WEAPONS OF THE DREADED CROSSHEAD

Hail, Kingbreakers!

It's been ages since I did some good old fashioned analogue art, so I've gone back to my sketchbook to scrape off some of the rust. Figured I'd start with my old favourite: Cool-ass weapons.

A lot of these weapons will appear in future games of mine, so if you're curious about anything you see here, check out the Sealight Studios website and our OSR 2-Player Duelling Simulator, Kingbreaker: The Crownday Festival.

Morgan Ironwolf by me!

My geography teacher had an old DND manual in her books, and I would draw Morgan over and over, until I matched the illustration as closely as possible.

Dedra’s Order Castle in Vorgis

The High Brazier is a crumbling two-story stone tower built within Vorgis’ walls, perched upon a jagged hill and lingering since the Schism like an unforgettable scar. It houses the dwindling remnants of a knightly order devoted to Dedra, who still gather to feast rather than celebrate after too many failed incursions against the Sons of Skandir. Inside, a soot-choked great hall, a silent musicians’ balcony, a weary captain’s chamber, and a scriptorium of brittle, unfinished chronicles all echo with a past that refuses to fully fade.

Hand-drawn illustration by me, based upon Solo Mode Shadowlords sessions through the Shadow Lands.

Looking for Custom Dungeonscrawl Mapmaker Assets?

Does anyone know where I can go to find these, especially ones that re programmed specifically for Dungeonscrawl? I need some brushy-looking pine trees that fit a blue-spruce vibe.

Robin

Robin! La leggenda?! Beh si! Un onore rientrare nella categoria degli illustratori che lo hanno rappresentato! Per me rimane un icona che traccerà sempre fantastiche avventure nei miei ricordi e ora nelle mie prossime avventure con HOOD!!!
