These are my 3 reasons.

‎1. They  just feels like one of those couples who are together mainly because they’re similar and expected to be. A good way to explain it is like in Toy Story, fans assume Woody and Jessie should be a couple just because “she’s a cowgirl and he’s a cowboy.” That’s how Dick and Barbara come across.

‎“Oh, she’s a Bat-girl and he’s a Bat-boy so they should kiss!”

‎2. In comic panels and fan art where they’re not wearing their costumes, they look basic and mid.  There’s nothing particularly distinctive about them that makes you instantly recognize them at first glance and go, “Oh yeah, that’s Dick and Barbara.” because there are lot of couples that look just like them, that have the same hair colors and features, so it’s easy to mistake them for other white couples. I’ve seen people confuse them with Mark and Eve, or just assume it's just a picture of two ordinary people. That’s also why some artists include their names in fan art, just so people can be aware that it’s Dickbabs. In contrast, DickKory is harder to mistake for other couples because Kory's orange skin and Pupils being entirely green makes her stand out. Because of that, DickKory panels and fan-arts tend to be more visually unique and interesting to me.

‎3. Their fans are really frustrating to talk to. They act like thirds graders, way too sensitive and talk so childish.  If they disagree with your opinion about a fictional character, they immediately jump to personal insults instead of making a solid argument about the character itself. ‎They can't focus on talking about the character alone. You can say something as simple as, “I find Barbara boring,” and suddenly it turns into a full blown attack against you.

‎DickBabs shippers: “Shut the f*** up, stupid b****!

‎“Look what this dumb a** person said about Barbara!”

‎‎I don’t think it’s wrong for them to disagree with opinions about Barbara, but the way they get wild over it? Like Calm down, She’s just a fictional character. The world will keep spinning if nobody likes her. If you want to defend Barbara or DickBabs, at least do it without taking things personally.
