I found a place I’m placing a bid on, honestly i was disappointed there wasn’t much to choose from unless i want to spend too much for something i really don’t love. So I’m looking at a double wide, i have enough cash to buy it, and my concern is how aggressive is the tax man at reassessing tax values of houses there? I’m coming from a city that flies drones over your property and jacking up values. My tax value in Austin almost doubled in 2021 when the real estate boom hit Austin…that popped within 2 years. There’s a whole industry that’s popped up off this scam to “protest” your tax increase for a fee. Is it like this in Missoula?
