Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 launched at 9 lakhs. Thoughts?
Same price for every color. 9 lakhs.
Which scooter
Im going to be in nepal for a little more than a year untill i go out
Which scooter should i buy the aprilla sr 160 or the ather 450x with the 3.7kWh battery( these are my top choices open to other brands as well)
Ill be doing 10-25 km everyday and about 40 km in weekends
I would like it if i can take it outside valley ( max 150 km)
This is my first scooter
please help me choose
So i have been eyeing few bikes for some time. Im 17 currently, have ridden few bikes here and there and main source of travel was my scooter which i have ridden since 7th grade. Im pretty aware while on the road and im planning on getting a bike now. My 2 options are RE Meteor 350(Supernova) and Triumph Speed 400. I have done some research on the speed and i have heard that there are some stalling issues and service cost is very expensive. Im pretty avg on income. And the RE felt comfy, but heavy whereas the speed felt light but the pillion seat lookd a bit narrow. BTW i will be using the bike for everyday use, and few long tours here and there. Im not a thrillaholic but i like a punch of acceleration when i want to overtake and the Meteor seems to be lacking on that department.
Please tell me the cons and pros you have faced with the two bikes and what should i choose?
When should I visit for new license?
So I passed my bike trial yesterday from Pokhara, and the guy who was there taking our details mentioned to visit office back again after 10 days with 1500 Rs to pay for new license. Now today, when I checked on the official site for license, it has an option to pay 1500 from the portal, but says online payment is not enabled for this office. Does this mean I can now visit transport office and pay for new license since its in official site or should I wait for 10 days?
Ather Rizta S, Yadea Velax or Yadea Owin ?
Anyone who has bought any of the three mentioned above, I really wanna know the real life range of these. Most review videos anusaar Rizta S gives about 85-95 KM, Velax about 75-85 and Owin about 70 re. As a 20 year old, I am planning to get one from my own money so I really want the best for the buck, primarily to be used inside Kathmandu valley only ekdamai rarely long trips janxhu , Ather probably seems like a no brainer due to its extra features and fast charging support but I also really wanna hear from the Yadea owners, how is your experience with the Yadea scooters. 🙏🙏
Royal Enfield Ko Full Lineup Nepal Ma Kahile?
Royal Enfield Nepal le ali customer ko perspective bata ni sochnu paryo.
Nepal ma RE ko fanbase casually built bhako haina people genuinely love the brand for its legacy, charm, and riding feel. India ma kati dherai variants, proper pricing, value-for-money options haru cha. Tara Nepal ma chai limited options, unclear launches, ani pricing herda kahile kahi logic nai bhetdaina.
Guerrilla 450 jasto bike, jun India ma accessible/value-focused segment ma position gareko cha, scrambler 400x vanda ni cheaper xa but nepal ma 2lakh badi xa price
RE Nepal owner haina royal enfield ko distributer matra ho so serivice dine kam vayexi ramro service dina paryo they js taking benefit off this monopoly system .
Can you learn bike if you never rode a cycle?
Just curious if there’s anyone here who never learned how to ride a bicycle at all but still learned bike later on 😅
I’ve literally never ridden a cycle in my life, but I kinda wanna learn bike now because using Pathao/InDrive even for short distances is getting hectic and expensive. Feels embarrassing to start this late too lol.
How hard was it for you? Any tips for complete beginner? Anyone here who mastered bike without knowing how to ride a cycle?
Finally got my hands on the Ather 450x, 1 week bhayo leko dui choti service center janu parisakyo
1st time, scooter gurauda tik tik aawaz aayera, they said belt ma fohor lagera awaz aako, they cleaned it up and the noise perished.
2nd time, front wheel ko brake was lightly engaged even though i wasn't pressing it, you get me ??
Overall, the performance is very pleasing, taking about the range, inside valley matra gako xu one week matra bhayo leko, easily 100km dinxa 40-50 ko speed ma.
One thing, seats are very cushiony, soft ramro lagyo Bata Ali sloped xa so slippery hunxa, time time ma paxadi gairakhnu parxa, Ani pillion ko lagi, my girlfriend said usko back dhukxa seat dherai far apart bhayera, she hugs me when we're riding so sabai lai yo problem aaudaina.
Ah Ani, initial days ma my arms were hurting, my gf said the same too, maybe bani na bhayera hola, aaile ta thikxa sabai, Testo dhukne bhako xaina aaile chai.
Parts are expensive, that's what I've heard.
Ather ko community ni ramro xa, bonding sessions haru bhaira hune rahexa, Ani Ather ko apps ma chai bugs dherai rahexa, had to reinstall two times cuz of the bugs, kaile ta scooter sanga connect nai na bhaidine, Testo.
Ani service center ni pack hunxa most of the times, Ather ko fast chargers ni sadhai pack, probably Aile free bhayera hola, 2027 Dekhi paid fast charging hune bhanera, hopefully scooter ko features ma ni subscriptions na Lagos, India ma jastai.
Aru ta Dami xa, looks ni stealthy xa, fighter jet jastai.
Ik it's not a good review and this is my raw review as, I'm not a good reviewer nor dherai bhako xa yo scooter chalako.
Drop your thoughts on it.
Cheers.
Any advice for someone who is going to give Bike License Trail ?
Like any short Tips & Suggestions
Or ..... some insights
How much is Yamaha servicing charge?
I recently bought Yamaha Ray ZR and I have to go to my first servicing very soon, and the scooter itself has reached less than 200km but it is recommended to do first servicing after 1 month.
So, just to manage my budget and my mind,
- how much does it costs normally for servicing?
2.How much time do I need to spend and I don’t have to leave my scooter at the service center, right?
Because I will have to leave early for office the next day.
Also, anything you would like me to know (as I don’t know anything about scooter and the servicing), you are very welcome to do so :)
CF 250 Dual
Finally bought myself a 250 dual. For anyone considering this, I am 5'6, tip toe hunxa tara lightweight vayera tip toe vaye pani sajilo xa. Right leg ma chahi heat dherai hunxa, so shorts sanga ride garna risky xa. suspension chahi 160 mm vaye pani real world ma works great and the best part chahi tyre ho. Hilo ma ekdum ramro response xa + mild cornors pani garxa, as dual purpose as it should be. Road presence pani nice xa + very comfortable. Just an week vayo kineko. I am loving it. I bought it on risk of my own, minor diagnosis afai garna sakxu, warranty process sabai company ma lang hunxa. If you do not have problem with service centre availability and chinese tag, xpulse 4v vanda wayyyy wayy better.
Should I wait for tax cut ?
I'm about to buy the newest model of the RE classic 350 and am wondering if I should wait for the prices to do down as I've heard from some people that the tax rate is gonna go down.
What do you guys suggest?
Helmet options!!
So, Currently i’m using vega bolt and i’m planning to upgrade to a new helmet around 10-12k which one should i go for and where could i find genuine one and don’t get the copied one.
MT15 or R15 V4 for 6ft Riders
I wanted to buy a R15M or MT15 as my first bike but i saw reviews saying it is not suitable for my height. What are your suggestions?
Suggest on bike

Beginner rider looking for first bike under 5 lakhs.
I’m 19 years old and planning to buy my first bike soon after my license exam. I’ve never ridden bikes before, so I’m looking for advice from people with actual ownership experience.
My budget is STRICTLY under 5 lakhs and I only want a brand new bike, not second hand.
About me:
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 85 kg
Beginner rider
Will mostly ride in Kathmandu city traffic
Daily usage around 15 km total
Occasional pillion rider (friends/family/girlfriend)
Long rides are not a priority, but I would eventually like to do solo rides to places like Dharan or Chitwan someday
What matters most to me:
Reliability / peace of mind ownership
Low maintenance cost
Good fuel economy (around 40 km/l minimum would be nice)
Good spare parts availability in Nepal
Comfortable enough for daily traffic
Dual ABS if possible
Modern features are VERY important to me
Gear position indicator is important
Navigation/Bluetooth is also important
Good ground clearance for Nepali roads
Things I DON’T care much about:
Top speed
Racing
Loud exhausts
Resale value
I prefer refined and stress-free ownership more than aggressive performance. I’m okay learning on a heavier or slightly intimidating bike if it’s manageable long-term.
One bike I’m currently considering is the NS200 mainly because it seems feature packed, but I’m not emotionally attached to it and I’m open to better suggestions.
One bike I really DON’T like is the Pulsar 220F mainly because of the design and older-feeling features.
Based on my situation, what bikes would you recommend and why? Also, if you think the NS200 is NOT a good choice for a total beginner, please explain why.
