I know it's fairly new, but I cannot find much info on the GT5 Max. I actually just ordered the ST3 Pro, as their comparison tool shows GT only goes to 20mph (actually goes to 24.9 like ST). I think I prefer the look of the GT, and I am willing to pay a little more for the additional range. Anyone have any feedback or suggestions? I will be commuting about 10 miles round trip to work and maybe light off road. ST is labeled as performance vs commuter series. I'm torn!
I got my Navee ST3 Pro brand new and have been riding it for about two weeks already. No complaints at all, but today I noticed that when the scooter is turned off and I lift it up, the rear (motor) wheel doesn’t spin as freely as the front wheel. The front wheel spins very smoothly, but the rear has a clear drag and feels significantly heavier, even though:
• The rear disc brake has a clear gap from the pad (no rubbing).
• No brake‑lock or security feature is enabled.
I know the rear hub motor will always have some resistance, but it feels quite sticky. Has anyone else noticed this on the ST3 Pro?
• Does your rear wheel spin smoothly when lifted, or is there strong drag like mine?
• If you also have drag, does it feel even all the way around, or does it catch/jump at certain points?
I’m trying to figure out if this is just how the motor is designed, or if there’s a brake, bearing, or internal issue that needs attention. Any experiences or measurements appreciated!
