My investigator called me today in the early afternoon & my psych evaluator emailed me last Thursday stating psych hasn’t received some documentations they’re looking for from an agency I was DQ from in the past. I do believe they finally sent it to her on Friday, not sure.

However, my investigator said psych still has me on review & nothing can get submitted until psych submits their decision and today was the last day to submit everything. So, hopefully I can make it for July. I been on review since December 2025 & redid everything this month because my jst & etc had expired from last year. Everything was going good but they had just realized on the second week of this month that I was DQ.

I’m still positive, only 3 months longer & it‘s nice that they’re in constant communication with me without me having to blow up their phone. Good Luck to everyone.

Can you be disqualified if you get to tired during gym? Do some people drop out of runs and push ups? Thanks for any info!

Heard that if you get your mini med you’re guaranteed the job as long as you don’t fail the drug test or get arrested?

I start the academy Wednesday I have a 550 credit score and I know we don’t get paid for a month would I be able to get a 6k loan

I just took the 911 operator exam and I scored Thirty five out of 50. What does that mean? That’s like a 70%, how fast are they calling ?

Has anyone taken their mini med yet? Pretty much done with every step except this one.

Has anyone received a background investigation date yet ? (Civilian) I understand this process takes a while just generally curious

Is anyone OTJ for this department? What are the chances for getting hired as a non resident of White Plains? Want insights for the ones that work here, if it’s worth it.

Once we start the academy how does it work ? God forbid you get sick or need a day ? How does that work as obviously they want us as committed as possible !

Also if it’s Monday- Friday are we allowed to do like a weekend trip ?

If I was unsure about how recently I stopped smoking and I fail the mini medical would I be dq automatically or would I be able to sign a waiver and keep going , I said I quit about 5 months ago

anyone still waiting for hiring email? Was told everything was approved and going through chain of command & that it could still come tomorrow

Finished and passed everything in the process nearly a month ago. Was told I am waiting on co approval. 3 days before the academy does anyone expect to be getting an email within these upcoming days? Given my situation could I be a back fill?
