I was at an eye hospital recently and couldn’t stop noticing something.
Elderly people, alone, trying to manage everything.
Filling out forms, standing in queues, asking for directions, figuring out payments… some looked visibly confused but still hesitant to ask for help.
It didn’t feel like a one-off thing. I’ve seen similar scenes in banks and government offices too.
And it hit me, this is probably happening with even my own parents more often than I realize.
Most of us are away. And they rarely call us for these things because they don’t want to “disturb”.
But what feels small to us can be quite overwhelming for them.
Curious to know, how are others here handling situations like this for their parents remotely?
