Help regarding placement policies.

Is there any policy in NITs that does not allow people with drop years for sitting in placements? Or any bias against students who have drop years and are being secretly disqualified from placements?

I have a total of 2 gap years from 12th till now for entrance exam preparation and health reasons. I was worrying if Mtech students who have gap years dont get jobs. Do such people get equal job opportunities?

PS: Mtech in Computer Science and allied branches
