Body of an unknown male was discovered around 5 AM after he jumped from a building at IIIT Nagpur.

The body reportedly remained untouched for nearly an hour before police reached the spot around 5:50 AM. The identity of the deceased is still unknown.Today was also an exam day on campus. The handling of the situation is very disturbing.

Students were protesting for proper food, water and electricity as there were frequent power cuts and electricity won’t come for hours. It was not bad enough that we lost one of us, someone who was a son, a brother, a friend but the management killed him again by not taking any action against the people saying mard bano and internship lag jayegi.

It’s true, boys hostel ex warden Harsh Goud and ECE department HOD said to the grieving students that “mard bano” and “apne maa baap ke baare me socho”.
Whereas the more emphatic gender the female warden said “kuch acche se phele bura hota hai” “internship lag jayegi”

These are the people parents trust to keep their kids safe but the reality is that the same people pose the biggest threat to them.

The college after such a big protest didn’t got a full time doctor and an ambulance but we have to share with our neighbouring university(MNLU).
