The USC Trojans are expected to lose four of their top five frontcourt players, which currently leaves them relatively thin and inexperienced in the frontcourt heading into next season. Here are three transfer targets who could help the Trojans remain a legitimate national title contender

Nunu Agara, 6’2 | PF | JR | StanfordHead coach Lindsay Gottlieb previously found success bringing in a Stanford transfer with Kiki Iriafen—though it helped that Iriafen was from the Los Angeles area. Agara’s face-up game presents major problems for opposing defenses. As a full-time starter this season, she averaged (15.2) points and (8.5) rebounds for the Cardinal.

Essence Cody, 6’4 | PF | JR | AlabamaInjuries interrupted what looked like a promising junior season, but Cody would still be a valuable addition to USC’s frontcourt. While her rebounding numbers don’t stand out for her size—she’s a career (5.7) rebounds-per-game player—she brings SEC experience, reliable scoring ability, and rim protection. Cody averaged (2.0) blocks as a freshman and (1.7) as a sophomore.

Fatima Diakhate, 6’5 | C | JR | Pittsburgh
If USC were able to land both Agara and Cody, that pairing alone would form a strong frontcourt alongside incoming freshmen Sita Fagan and Sara Okeke—assuming the freshmen can contribute immediately. Still, adding more size and veteran experience would strengthen the rotation even further. Diakhate showed flashes of her potential last season, averaging (9.4) points, (8.9) rebounds, and (1.4) blocks with Pittsburgh. Securing Diakhate along with the other two options could give USC one of the deepest and most formidable frontcourts in the country.
