A lot of us demanded (and got) refunds on our season tickets when she was drafted. She is a great goal scorer but a rubbish person.
Initially, she got booed a LOT. Now it is less frequent, but many, many of us don’t clap for her. I am sure she is devastated and will, eventually, change her prejudicial ways. right? Right?
I just have to say this is such an incredible team. Watching Voctrie beat the Frost was tragic.. obviously. Man oh man I am thoroughly impressed with Montreal. Desbiens made some INCREDIBLE saves that had me jumping up and down. Anyway I just wanted to stop by and say congratulations Victorie! And I'm excited to watch the finals! Ya'll are getting that cup. I just know it.

already seeing some negative speculation regarding the quick reschedule and i think every fan of both teams needs to bring the same energy they had for tonight to tomorrow.
the players could have had some food poisoning which can clear in like 12-24hrs so who knows who will be in or out. these are also professional athletes: peak health and gritty mentality. i think its easy to think of our turnaround time as no pro athletes and apply the same to the pros but they are truly beyond average health and capacity. i think its also incredibly fucking pathetic to assume that the top seeded team wont go far without 5 players (if the speculation is true AND if they all wont play) when theres good depth on the team.
and who cares theres a habs game. im a fan of both. a game of both teams being on the same night at home was bound to happen due to playoffs so lets rip the bandaid. its a do or die game, so let’s fuckin go. change the attitude its ridiculous to bitch and moan over the very real reality here: health can change quickly and both teams are in the playoffs

I'm a European that follow Canadian sports and usually default to Vancouver.
PWHL is what got me into hockey and I watched the Victoire in season 2 as I wanted to follow a Canadian team and my partner has family ties to Quebec.
Season 3 I watched pretty much any game involving one of the Canadian squads, but I was set to support Vancouver. With new sports leagues (or new leagues I start to follow) I usually wait and see if there is a moment where I realise I am emotionally invested in a team.
And while I am not ashamed of having cheered for the Goldeneyes, I realised that Montreal is the hockey team that really made me fall in love.
So yeah, I needed to figure it out for myhself but I am locked in now. Whether the team wins the cup or come in last next year, I'm in.

That's it, that's the post. With the uncertainty of scheduling and this game being on a Monday, it seems like our arena won't be completely full tonight.
