Short Rant about how the Monsterverse can't have Dinosaurs because of the Jurassic Franchise
(art was made by Harry-o-pato on r/Specevofandom)
*inhale*
So, for some stupid reason. The Monsterverse isn't allowed to have Dinosaurs because "it'd be too similar to Jurassic Park".
Riddle me this though, WHY THE FUCK CAN JURASSIC PARK RIP OFF THE MONSTERVERSE THEN.
Like literally, the concept art for the Mutadons is literally the Male Muto. And if you squint at the Distortus Rex hard enough, it's arguably the Female Muto too.
Why should Legendary refuse to add Dinosaurs to the monsterverse for being "too similar" to Jurassic Park, BUT WHEN JURASSIC PARK DOES IT ITS FINE?!
I've usually seen from the JP Fanbase that they don't want The Monsterverse stuff to leak into Jurassic park, and that's fair. But I barely just see anyone talking about how biased it is that JP can Rip off the Monsterverse, whilst we aren't allowed any Dinosaurs because of JP.
I really hope that Rebirth's Mutants somehow allow for Dinos to be added. Like, it's only fair we can get Monsterverse Gorosaurus if the Jurassic Park Franchise can rip off the monsterverse, whilst we usually aren't allowed Dinosaurs.
If Legendary introduced Toho’s arthropod Titans into the Monsterverse… what abilities would make them actually terrifying?
I know Legendary could create original arthropod Titans—but there’s something different about Toho’s. They already have identity, history, and fan recognition.
If they were reimagined for the Monsterverse, what new abilities or traits would you want to see to make them stand out?

Screw it, I'm tired of all these negativity, What do you guys like about Wingard films?
1.Kaiju fights in broad daylight. I'm KoTM biggest glazer, But there were definitely some shots that I think were way too dark than it should be or was obscured by rain and storm(Especially in the cinema), and don't get me started on 2014.
2.Actually telling the story even when Humans weren't involved.
3.In term of entertainment value, Some of the fights(Like the Zero Gravity fight in TNE) was some of the most fun I have with Godzilla franchise, period.
4.The monsters got significantly increasing in screentime compared to other MV Films(Except maybe Skull Island)
5.I don't care about some of the scene that doesn't make sense, As long as the cool factor outweight it. Godzilla drilling the hole into Hollow Earth through Atomic Breath is my prime example of this, I think this scene was dope as hell, logic be damned.
6.I actually like the grumpy old man Godzilla, sue me.
There is being drama (again) on Twitter.
Everybody discussing about Wingard Godzilla, scale, or whatever. I see no one talking about:
● How Godzilla atomic-drill hole to the Hollow Earth
● How there are even portals and gravitational anomalies like if there was a black hole in the planet.
● What the hell happened to that hole in Hong Kong now there is a clean entrance to H.E.?
● The egg at the end of KOTM?
● What happened in 2021?
● How can they replicate an energy that they don't know anything about?
● How Skar King can control Shimo with that cristal?
● How the hell is there a hyperloop from Florida to Hong Kong?
● Why nobody addresses that Ghidorah is an alien, wouldn't that be a big deal? Was the theory dismissed?
● Mothra being awakened because of a specifically skull island native, wtf? Like she was supposed to be another monster instead?
● Where is Rodan?
And let's not talk about his editing, that's a whole different story. Lance Riddick just got 5 second of screentime.
M:LOM s2 will end with Ghidorah's discovery
The line "It's something bigger" has gotta be talking about Ghidorah as it's obvious it's not Titan X now. Dr. Vivienne Graham also states he was a recent discovery in KOTM, and M:LOM S2 is taking place in 2017, so it all lines up.
Will the characters from Monarch: Legacy of Monsters (2023– ) ever make their big-screen debut in the Monsterverse?
The sheer audacity of Monarch’s denial is so absurd that it deserves to be remembered as peak shamelessness. Props to Little King on X for raising the question! 👏
Why does Davy Jones’ theme fit Godzilla so perfectly?
Honest question, what does Godzilla hate more?
Great Apes
Ghidorah
A stray bridge everytime he rises from water
Is Monarch Season 2 worth the watch?
I’ve been getting fight scenes from the show recommended to me recently, but I don’t want to watch them without watching the show first. I’ve heard that the new season is a step down from the first, so could y’all help me out? I just want to know if the show is worth it
What if Gareth Edwards never left King of the Monsters, what would the monsterverse look like now?
Appearently Edwards vision for the Godzilla 2 was similar to the original movie. But I think it would have tonned down on the scifi elemants alot more along with the marvel esc dialouge in some parts. I'd like to also think that Ghidorah would be potrayed to be much more of an eldritch/cosmic like creature and other monsters would be potrayed with a more horror esc vibe. I'd also like to think that the Family drama would be with Ford and his family.
As for GvK and onward, it'd be interesting to see if Adam would keep with the more serious and realistic vibe and what Apex Cybernetics and Hollow Earth would look like.
If the monsterverse did continue i could see Monarch being the same but maybe without the time dialation thing with Axis Mundi, GxK would likely be a completely different film, and Gareth could return to make Godzilla 3, because KOTM was originaly set to release in 2018 in a much less stacked slate so it would have perforrmed better and not scare Legendary away from solo movies.
Apple TV Press dropped a new image of "Godzilla vs. Titan X" from the latest episode"Separate Ways" of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters (2023– ) Season 2 streaming now on Apple TV.

Theory: Skar King's Whipslash is made out of a dead Shimo, perhaps her mother and she's only controlled because she thinks her mother is telling her to do something
Are We Not Excited For This?
I know that sounds like an intentionally baiting question, I’m just genuinely curious if this is the case as I don’t think I’ve seen anyone really talking about this? If I recall correctly, this is something a lot of people have been wanting for a few years (at least what I’ve seen on this sub). This could just be because we have LOM Season 2 streaming and hype for Supernova, or I’m ignorant to others that have posted already about this recently. So with that being said and it coming out late June, I have a few questions for this book I’m certain a share with the majority of you.
Will it feature creatures from LOM Season 2?
Will it present any of the named but unseen Titans?
Will it bring in creatures from the comics whose canonicity is grey (Jinshin-Mushi, Yuggoth, Camazotz, etc.).
Are we gonna see new monsters that we have not seen in movies, shows or comics?
Edit: For those that don’t know, this is an upcoming book that details tons of info and added lore regarding the Titans and superspecies of the Monsterverse. It’s already teased info for Godzilla, King Ghidorah, Mothra and Kong. It comes out June 23rd.
