With Vega + other high-end receivers gone, KCC felt like a great fit. Filling the route runner/YAC role between DK and Pittman.
Originally moved up to 40 to get Bisontis with 53+99, but got offered Atlantas 48th spot and a future 2nd and had to move back a few spots and caught EMW as he fell, great value for a possible long-term starter at a position of need and came away with a 2027 2nd.
Moved up to 69, which just felt right for this guy. Getting another corn fed mauler to put next to Frazier gives our interior the balls it needs.
Stuck around and Big Citrus fell. Getting a run stuffing fire hydrant as a true nose frees up Benton for a more natural role.
With other LB's flying off the board, picking up a dynamic cover LB here felt like a good spot for depth and starting potential.
How'd I do? Not very well versed in pick value/trades but I see the Steelers making a bunch of moves with all the picks they have and tried to make some trades.
Please leave me some comments and questions and I’ll do my best to give you my reasoning for each pick. I’ll be putting out the one with trades later today. Thanks!
I let the computer pick the rest, i personally don’t think Malachi will fall past 40.
I used A to Z mock draft and I accepted trades that were proposed to me. I definitely think it would be good for the dolphins to trade back from 30 or 43 to acquire another top 100 pick. I’d prob stick to 11 if Fano, Mauigoa, Downs, or Bain Jr are there but I’d even consider trading that pick.
This exercise is a first round mock draft, assessing team needs and identifying targets for later rounds. There are no trades and each team will be selecting at their draft position as of April 11th, 2026. Analyzing player potential, while considering the broader impact these picks will have on NFL franchises. The goal is to offer an insightful look into how this year’s NFL draft might unfold and provide a quick debrief on the top prospects of 2026. After publishing a 2025 mock in the same format just one week after the Combine, 26/32 projected first round players ultimately went in Round 1.
