Visiting Mobile in the near future, advice please?

I am coming to mobile for work and I'm trying to figure out the situation there.

I'm from the northeast, I know nothing about Alabama in general or the mobile area specially, so please forgive my ignorance.

I need to book my travel soon, I want to be somewhere that I can get up and go for a run in the morning, and maybe be able to walk to for a bite or drink after work.

I'm female and Asian American and my friends are freaking me out, I keep telling them I'm not going deep into the country or anything. I just want to be able to do more than sleep and uber back and forth to work.

Is downtown Mobile generally safe for me to explore? It's just a city, right? Safe to run and exercise in the morning? I'm assuming I'll stick out a bit.

Again forgive me for being completely naive, it's a work trip. If I was planning my own visit there and had ample time I'd do as much research as possible before.

Lawyer recommendations

I have a neighbor who has been harrassing me and my fiance for the last two years. We've been in our home for nearly 10 years. A couple who had children but I believe they were taken away (theyre not there full time). She repeatedly yells all hours of the day. Working from home has become miserable, cant find peace in our own home. She calls my fiance a bitch everytime we leave the house. We've tried communicating with her and pleading with her to be a little more quiet to no avail she waves us off and is rude. Police will do nothing. City will do nothing.

Cant have guest over

Can't watch TV in peace

Can't enjoy my property without hearing obnoxious loud screaming.

I want to sell my house and move but im worried any potential buyers will see her behavior and instantly walk away. I would.

Ive had trouble contacting a lawyer in town. No one seems to answer the phone. Any recommendations for a real-estate or property lawyer maybe civil litigation?

Would you guys rank Tucson over Memphis? The food is stellar, but is Tucson a bit overrated?

A boarded-up teardown in Seattle vs a fully loaded Colonial with a pool in Mobile for about the same price. Which are you taking?
