We watched a video on YouTube about the rise and fall of Micro Machines and he was telling me about some of the ones he had as a kid, including a Star Wars X-Wing.

I looked on Vinted and found this set from 1995, still unopened for under €50.

Best money I've ever spent!

Hello everyone!

I recently realised I still have a substantial amount of Micro Machines in storage from my childhood. I am slightly overwhelmed by how much there is though.

I thought this community would be a good place to share some pictures and see if there is anything especially rare or special in this collection. Any advice would be appreciated in the best way to make sure this collection goes to people who appreciate them rather than landfill.

Thanks!

Who still have their MM toys from the 90s? I wish Galoob still made Micro Machines, Hasbro's Micro Machines are not the same.

Behold my collection. I think I have managed to get every single unique MM (not AF) figure and vehicle (not necessarily every sealed product) from the OT and prequels (Star Wars only have 6 episodes!). I also tried to recreate some iconic scenes from the movies.

May the Force be with you.

The Convertible and blue one next to it are original to my childhood, but the rest I got at a train show last weekend.

The Boeing-Sikorsky RAH-66 “Comanche” that never was (ourside of prototypes) here shown as a Micro Machines Toy, 1995 Terror Troops (Night Camo) edition. A fan favorite of enthusiasts at the time, this casting and livery lives on. ADDED: disk for rotational effect

iCONNIEc

Lockheed L-1049 Super Constellation as #TWA custom that turned out fantastic by Keeping to the detail-level of WWGD… toyified but clearly marked! Affectionately called the “Connie”, this “Iconic” representation is iCONNIEc…

I hope that it's okay I've been posting this track I'm building here, as it's exclusively for micro machines and a couple off brand adjacent cars. My next step will be to clean up the paint over-spray, then add some grass on to the bricks on the sides of the track for a little color variation so they resemble hedgerows. Lastly, I aim to get more of the official building sets so I can change it up for different backgrounds, I don't plan on glueing any of the buildings down for that reason. Anyway hope you guys are liking it so far, and hope you all have a most excellent day!

(Oh and the scale is for weighing the cars so when I race them I can add that as a stat in case I do different weight classes or whatever.)

Warsurge casual rules with Micro Machines as C&C (Command & Conquer)

So, just sharing pics of a tabletop game I played using my Micro Machines, and that I'm looking forward to the war factory mode coming to Warsurge (a game that allows me to play with my MM). I set up and played a round inspired by the classic Command & Conquer RTS game (hence the overlay for fun). Here's the roster code for those who want to check it out (need the free app to view it though).

USR-RSTR-V001-0000-B7312329-914D-F111-8EF3-000D3AE0C075

That we'll be able to make our own custom RTS style armies is pretty neat IMHO. I often compared C&C and Micro Machines while growing up, probably inspired most of my friends to collect actually.

Any chance of Micro Machines working with the Worlds Smallest Hot Wheels tracks?

Pictures make it seem possible but I can’t help but feel like they’re much more narrow cars. If anyone has both and has tried it out, lemme know.
