✨ Heather Locklear: Aaron Spelling’s Golden Girl

Heather Locklear starred in three Aaron Spelling productions and was often referred to as “Aaron Spelling’s good luck charm.” Whenever one of his shows needed a boost, Heather seemed to deliver. When Melrose Place was struggling in the ratings, her arrival helped bring new energy and attention to the series.

Heather had a strong working relationship with Spelling and appeared on both Dynasty and T. J. Hooker during the same period. The production schedules were carefully coordinated so she could film her scenes on Dynasty—where she was not needed in every episode—while continuing her work on T. J. Hooker.

Which woman do you think Michael was genuinely in love with?

I think Jane was the love of his life. I don't believe any other woman could measure up to Jane. If Jane had wanted him back, I think he would have returned to her,

Kimberly gave Michael the emotional support he wanted from Jane. When Kimberly was stable, they got along well. But I don't think he loved her. I think they had more in common.

Sydney was just sex and he found her dumb and annoying. She was probably a great lay because he kept coming for more.

Megan was someone he aspired in a woman, she was kind and devoted to him bur probably too nice.

He respected Amanda but they ZERO in common. He was the Sydney to Amanda's Michael. Amanda appreciated the support he gave her when she was sick but he was intolerable.

Nicknames for Melrose Place characters

Have you got any nicknames for the characters? I call Jane "Angel of the House" (after this caricature of her from the Quantum Leap episode she was in: https://quantumleap-alsplace.com/img/episodeimages/rebelwithoutaclue/12.jpg, Megan the Angel of Hookers after Michael's dream in Better Homes and Condos where she's an angel, and the best I can come up with for Samantha is "Dress Shop Girl". So, do any of you have your own nicknames?

Melrose Place quotes that are applicable in everyday life

For me, it's Jake's "I stay out of clubs that would never have me as a member." It applies to Reddit itself, where some of the other subs have really strict rules. The Sex and the City sub bans pirated videos (even episodes of Kristin Davis's Are You A Charlotte podcast from YouTube) and the Gossip Girl sub has banned cast discussion because of all the stuff that's been going on with Blake Lively. So, what other quotes from Melrose Place are this applicable?

Matt and Kimberly

From It's A Bad World After All, when Matt comes to see Michael in the beach house when he has amnesia (Michael already knows about the car crash with Kimberly), and just as Matt is presumably about to tell Michael that he was the one who was driving that night, Kimberly stops him.
