Any tips on how you guys adjust the doppler angle for fetal heart scans? I get the basic idea but in practice I’m not always sure if I’m doing it right..

[1 YoE, Unemployed, MedTech-eHealth, Spain]

Hello everyone. I’m Alex, I studied medicine in Colombia then moved abroad. All I knew back in 2024 was related to my career. Given the circumstances in Spain I had to close this dream for a while due to paperwork.

Now I’m kinda stuck, not knowing how to orient my career, I did masters degree on AI in healthcare and another on Digital Health. I like what I’ve learned yet I’m having issues portraying my skills and value, as well as finding a place where this is viewed as worthy.

I’d like to know if my CV is ok or not, I don’t have contact’s here so people don’t know me and from what I’ve heard the labor market is at it’s worst. I’ve applied to big companies, made it to the end and still haven’t been picked.

Thanks

Hey everyone,

First time posting here. I’m a co-founder in the medtech space and I’ve been doing a lot of customer interviews lately.

One thing that keeps coming up is how manufacturers and distributors actually find each other. From what I’ve heard, it’s still heavily reliant on google, trade shows, existing networks, warm intros, and a ton of cold LinkedIn outreach that rarely works.

I’m genuinely curious about the current reality:

  • How painful is partner discovery for you right now (whether you’re on the manufacturer or distributor side)?
  • Has anything meaningfully improved in the last few years, or is it still basically the same old process?
  • Would most people even be open to trying a new tool for this, or is everyone pretty locked into their current methods?

Would love to hear real experiences from people actively doing BD or commercial work in medtech. No pitch — just trying to understand if this problem is as big as it seems from the conversations I’ve had.

Appreciate any thoughts.

Since a few people have asked — here's the link if you want to try it: kumello.com.
Free, no credit card, would genuinely love to know what you think.
