The level of oil is fine the battery is on 12.7 off 14.5 on and when you start it is fine when you start driving it comes on any help would go a long way

Hi, I have a 1999 Toyota Celica T23 1ZZ-FE (pre-facelift), and I replaced the catalytic converter with a new one. Before replacing it, the car had very poor power and the check engine light was on with error code P0420 (catalyst system efficiency below threshold). The catalyst core was loose and had been held in place with two screws. I also installed a spacer on the second O2 sensor to prevent the error from coming back, but the car still had no power.

Now, after installing the new catalytic converter, the car still doesn’t pull properly and feels sluggish. On cold start, it revs up very, very slowly until around 3000 RPM. After driving it hard for a bit, it feels slightly better than before, but not by much. What could be causing this?

The old catalytic converter was completely empty inside — the core had melted down, and in my opinion it smelled like burnt oil. Now it no longer smells. The car has 253k km, does not consume oil, and does not smoke, and it didn’t smoke before either.

Tengo un corolla 2004 ce y cuando piso el freno si encienden las luces traseras pero por la noche, cuando esta encendido no responden, solo cuando freno, alguien sabe que fusible/cable o problema podria ser?
