Photo ops and autographs

This is going to sound so weird, but do you get an allotted time that you have to have your photo op and autograph or can you go whenever you feel like it during the day? I went into the website to check for the times and there’s lots of options??? Unless I’m just confused but it would be my first time going to a comic con! TIA 😊

Is it okay to bring my cosplay in a bag and get changed into it once in the con?

Total basically explains it all, am I allowed to bring my cosplay in a bag and then get changed into it once at the con? Or do I have to show up already in cosplay?

Buying from the artist alley question

First time going to London Comic Con, does the artist alley takes card, or maybe use Revolut or should we get Punds as cash, if so how much would you reccomend we get?

My wife turns 30 this month and we are traveling from Germany to visit London and go to the this Comicon. She loves Brandon Sanderson and was really looking forward to getting an autograph/picture with him. I’ve been to Comicons before but I’ve never done anything involving autographs.

My questions are:

  1. How screwed am I for missing the window?

  2. Is there a secondary market where people sell their spots in line?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Sooooo I have never been to a comic con in my life! I just got a ticket and a photo op but I’m slightly anxious because I know it’s going to be busy from what I’ve been told by others or posts I’ve seen floating around in the previous years!

I’m unsure of how the day will go but need some advice, can I go later than my ticket I’ve bought if I only want to have my photo op? As an anxious individual I wanted to step out of my comfort zone. Do I have to get there for my allotted ticket time. Help a girl out please! And can you take stuff for them to sign if they are allowed to do that?

Any other advice is appreciated

This will be our first time at the convention. I had some questions about eating. Can anyone answer these please and thank you.

Are there food vendors?

Do they cater well for vegans?

Can you take your own food in?

Can you come and go from the venue as you please?

I can no longer attend this comic con. I have the priority ticket for Saturday and I was wondering if I could give it to a friend and how does it work?

Hey everyone 👋

I’m going to MCM Comic Con on the Friday the 22nd and I’ll be going solo. I’d love to meet a few people to walk around with, check out stalls, maybe grab food, etc.

I’m 35F - I’ve seen other posts of people looking to link up, but are younger, so I wasn’t sure if I’d fit in.

Just looking for a friendly, relaxed company. If anyone else is going solo or happy to adopt an extra person for the day, feel free to comment or DM!

Hey I’m not to bothered about getting my book signed but was hoping to meet him at the con…I’ve booked for Friday as but it seems like I won’t be able to meet him now as reservations have gone :(

I bought a priority ticket.

I’m honestly pretty upset as this is my first convention and I didn’t know that I had to book again to go see him
