Why is my Mangmi Air X having a hard time playing this game? I also have the anbernic rg40xxv and my son has the rg40xxh and these both seem to play it even better somehow. It does a little better when I use single screen layout, but I figured using the hybrid with the small touch screen to the side would be fine for this device.
Confused between the Mangmi Air X and the Nintendo Switch Lite. I’m from India, and over here both kind of cost the same. The Switch Lite is maybe a little more expensive, but not by a huge margin. What should I go for?both are affordable.
I already owned a Switch Lite long ago, and personally I found it really good, but I wish to get something a bit more pocketable. Also, the games and the prices of the games were diabolical.
Should I go for the Mangmi Air X this time? Because I love customizing, trying out different ports, and making the device look cool and filled with underrated games. But would it be dumb choosing it over a Switch Lite?
If any Mangmi Air X owners can share their experience with the console and its pros and cons, that would be great. I also want to know which one is more pocketable and has longer battery life between these two.

Has anyone tried physically swapping the ABXY buttons? My daughter is autistic and can't cope with the Nintendo layout. Even though I've swapped the button inputs in the software, she wants the labels to match. From the replacement button set on the Mangmi site, it looks like the A/B and X/Y buttons have the same peg layout, so I should just be able to open the device and swap them around. Has anyone tried this?
It seems like nobody who has a Mangmi can get it to work, but nobody is really mentioning what OS they're using. I can't get it to work on Gamma OS, but I'm curious if this a Gamma OS problem or not.
Others in the server mention it gets the "Failed to Initialize Graphics Backend" when it doesn't support DX12 or Vulkan, but as far as I've seen, this DOES support Vulkan.
If not, I guess it's just a matter on waiting to see if Courage Reborn blows Dusk out of the water.

Im interested in the air x for gba and psp games with decently sized picture, I currently own the rgcubexx and I received the retroid pocket classic as a gift but I dont really enjoy gba or psp on it because of smaller size. Im interested in most of psp and gba library mostly I want play older fire emblem titles, sorry if this is stupid question but can the air x run both gamecube and wii fire emblem games and will gba games look bigger than retroid pocket classic and how would battery life be for gba and psp.
Anybody else's air X all of a sudden have black bars on the sides of the screen that weren't there yesterday? Anybody have any idea how to fix it any help would be greatly appreciated.

After having this thing for almost a month now, I've slowly started to notice that the right joystick really is never used, there's a handful of PS2 games that use it and I guess if you're game streaming it would be used. But my question is, what games have you played that use that joystick? I guess android ports of games like GTA, but what else?
Just got my air x and decided it would be worth it to go through the process of installing gamma. I think I’m gonna do the lite version as from what I’ve seen in terms of differences, I don’t care much for what the full version has. If I have, say the 65 serial number and only want the lite, which/ how many files from the GitHub do I need to install? Also, do I need either of the source codes? This is my first android handheld and I’m not used to having to tinker with stuff like this, would love clear instructions.
I bought Kotor back when I had a nexus 7, but I picked up Kotor 2 during the May 4th sale and it runs great. There's even an android version of the restored content pack!
I have a unit that is practically could not turned on at all.
No visible damage from outside.
After charging a few minute, the back side does heat up a bit.

Dans ma bibliothèque Steam, j’avais le tout premier Assassin’s Creed, je me suis dit pourquoi pas tester, il va jusqu’au menu avec proton 11 et après tout freeze
first of all: do NOT get this game from an official looking website. according to the discord server they are all fake and you potentially risk getting malware or whatever.
with that out of the way, the game runs fine
i only played it for 10 minutes before reporting on the discord that the Magmi Air X can be added to the confirmed devices list and writing this post.
Some stutters or lags are there, i have had a 5 second freeze, some loading times seem longer than expected. And the text isnt displayed as it should imo (i come back to that later). Other than that the game runs fine, the music doesnt sound like its stuttering and the few fights i had went smooth. (Keep in mind i run the device in stock performance mode, never in max performance.) for the lags / freezes or stutters, according to discord you can disable the download data feature in the options, i havent tried or played much further yet.

this will send you to a page i will not link here because it might change or you dont want to trust me because of what i wrote above. (i know i wouldnt)
follow the guide WORD BY WORD. there are specific versions of joiplay and rpg maker plugin you have to install, its all in the guide.
after you are done with the guide and ready to play, keep READING THE GUIDE because there are button mapping recommendations that you do not want to skip. joiplay is hella confusing and i didnt read till the end. Thats why i recommend you do!
then, after you are actually done with the guide and also did the ingame steps and saved a game, leave the game.
open the options (3 button menu) > settings > enable "solid fonts" and further down set the "window size" to 1920 x 1080 > "Font Scale" to 1.00 (or higher, have not tested) press the save button!
this should now make most of the text readable. not perfect, but better.
you can then add other pokemon fangames made in RPG maker like unbreakable ties or other games. you will have to repeat the process of remapping the controls tho, because they are set in the game's instance, not in joiplay itself.

In the video I'm turning each stick slowly clockwise. When I tried to register the sticks on Retroarch it wouldn't read the bindings correctly. I tried restoring default settings but nothing! I purchased 2nd hand fyi.
