I got RT in chemistry, 69%ile in jee, 77k in Viteee, Met 52 marks, not eligible for any of these now after boards result, pcm aggregate is 49.6 with RT in chemistry and overall is 66.8%. I’ve given comedk (will get score on 16), and thapar counciling (very slim chance as I’ve homestate quota). IS DROP THE ONLY OPTION LEFT? I can definitely clear RT in July but what colleges option am I left with? might get in LPU or other shitty colleges but thats only what i'm left with, Im gonna wait till 16 and make a decision as results of comedk and thapar would have been out till then. any suggestions or advice?

\- Can friends choose/get the same hostel room together or is everything allotted randomly beforehand?
\- Is 4 seater non-AC actually manageable during summers?
\- Is laundry good or better to wash clothes ourselves?
\- What are some important hostel rules/restrictions freshers should know before joining?
\- How strict are in-time/outing rules for girls?
\- Till what time can girls stay outside in campus/hostel area for walks, sports, gym, badminton, etc.?
\- Which hostel type is best according to you for first year?
\- Is there any specific hostel assigned for North-South combo food?
\- Or can we eat in any hostel/central mess we want?
\- Which hostel mess actually has the best food according to you?
\- How’s the food honestly?
\- How fast is hostel WiFi honestly?

PART 2 — Extra Questions

\- Any safety tips for girls hostel in first semester?
\- Things you regret not bringing to hostel?
\- Any tips to survive hostel life peacefully with roommates 😭
\- Anything important freshers should avoid doing in the first few weeks?

\- Can we decorate rooms a little?
\- How early should freshers arrive on move-in day? (I’m from South India)

I have paid the 10k for seat Allotment but in the Allotment letter they asked us to pay 1,10,000 by 10th may to confirm admission or else our seat will be given to another student by the next counseling.

I MISTAKEN 1L AS 11K!!

so till now I was thinking it was 11k but now during the night of 9th may im realising its 1,10,000!

obviously that amount is not manageable to arrange within 1 day but for me its tough to arrange it even with in a week or two!

I dont know what to do it was purely my carelessness.

I was planning to take a student loan but you don't get student loan without an admission letter idk where will I get the admission letter and how will I give them a semester fees in 1 day?!

I REALLY dont want my branch to change which is Al/ML just because of the delay.

IM planning to talk to the Ipu counselor tomorrow morning but ik even they will try to create the fomo of how I will lose the seat if I dont pay by thiss certain deadline.

I think the deadline is just to create fomo and get money out of the pocket by every private clgs but still im really scared if I loose my seat or branch because Ipu is the only option for me rn. I really need to know do they really gave your seat to someone else if you pay late??

im confused with the hostel mess food shit there too

it would be great if someone helps me out with the hostel thing, the fees, admission, student loan and by 10th please please its an urgent need

So basically, I was planning to take the 5-seater AC hostel, but unfortunately it’s either full or maybe the website hasn’t been updated yet because I can’t see the 5-seater option anymore. When I asked one of the ma’ams who helped me through the admission process, she told me it’s full.

Now I’m thinking of either taking a 6-seater Non-AC room or a 4-seater non-AC room. Could you please suggest which one would be better in terms of room environment and roommates?

Mostly due to some budget issue I would prefer 6 seater but if the environment is an issue then I can even take 4 seater

I'm getting a scholarship of 50% based on my jee score in lpu and an addition 20% because one of my parents is a teacher. So its round 64k per sem for cse without hostel and all.......I got jee 95.25 2026....Just tell if lpu is good in terms of placements, hostel, peer group, sports,etc. and others please suggest other colleges i shud go for.....

Can anyone help me out w the more or less mess and hostel fees of lpu?
