Is this life + LTC plan good? I know nothing...
I'm 40M, don't have life insurance aside from the one employees at my company are automatically enrolled in, no wife (yet), and don't intend to have children. I live in WA state, so I'm already forced into the WA Cares Fund for LTC, but I think it only pays up to $36,500 if ever needed.
A term (until age 100) life + LTC group plan is available through my employer this week from a company called The Standard. Approval is guaranteed with no heath questions. I can take the plan with me if I leave the company or the state. I heard it does not have inflation protection, but I don't know what that means.
I'm in over my head here and I have to decide by Friday. Any advice is appreciated. If you have specific questions about the plan, I'll do my best to find the answers. Thanks in advance!
