Looking for recs I haven’t been to!

Thank you so much in advance…I know I can simply look up restaurant recommendations on this Reddit, but I would just like to list the places I have been (might be missing a few) to and get further suggestions if possible to avoid duplicates or if you believe ANY other place is definitely worth going to over other options, and the best fancy restaurants AND crab/seafood AND asian OR sushi places OR bars and ANY surrounding area restaurants as well. we plan to do a DE day and take the ferry. are willing to travel roughly 30ish mins if need be.

Have been to:
-Betty’s Burger Bar
-Lombardi’s
-Macky’s
-Fractured Prune
-Thrashers
-Bad Monkey
-Cantina Los Agaves
-Happy Jack Pancake House
-Seacrets
-The Greene Turtle
-Bonfire

Proposal Photographers

Hi! Inquiring about any photographers in the Lewes,DE/Lower Slower who would be available for about an hour between 7-8pm on Saturday the 16th.

Planning on proposing at State Henlopen State park on the bay side overlooking the lighthouse.

I know it’s a little late noticed but things got moved around. Any referrals or help would be greatly appreciated!

Help me find this secluded beach please!

This is a long shot, but might as well try! I’m trying to find this bayside beach in the Lewes area that I went to once. Would appreciate any help/guesses!

I visited Lewes a handful of times from 2018-2021. I was shown a bunch of cool from some locals that were more off the beaten path. I’m visiting again soon for the first time in a while, and I don’t have those locals to ask anymore.

I always stayed in the Heron Bay Rental Home neighborhood. The drive to this beach was only about a 15 minute drive, and this was definitely a bayside beach. It almost looked like private property because of how secluded it was, but it was not. It had a marked sign at the trailhead, even though it was small.

I’ve scoured Google Earth but I can’t figure it out. It was definitely on the bay, because it was a loooong way to the other side of the water where we could see land and homes. The pathway leading up to the beach was lined with tall skinny pines—you can kind of see them in the pictures attached if you zoom to the right, but right at the beach was where they got more sparse. It was a little bit of a drive down a small tree covered road again sparsely populated with a few homes, until you stopped at the trailhead. No real parking lot, just people parked off to the side.

I know there was signage but just can’t recall names. It was a beautiful little beach and you could see a couple of big homes on either side once you popped out at the beach and got out of the tall skinny pine path, but I do believe it was only 2 houses. It was not densely populated with homes at all. It was like you were in these 2 houses’ backyards basically. We passed a couple of other locals along the beach walk and chatted. We definitely weren’t trespassing.

Attached a couple pictures here to see if happens to help, but I do realize it looks like plenty of other places in the area.

I would just Looooove to be able to hit this beach again on my upcoming trip. If you got this far, thanks. And TIA for any suggestions!
