major switch before going in

I got accepted to the csb program in the fall, via the early decision pool but i’m having some doubts and would like to switch to finance due to the math classes required in the csb program. is it possible to switch before stepping on campus?

Transfer Waitlisted - Fall 26

Hey guys, so I just got waitlisted for Lehigh University as a transfer student. Does anyone know how to get off the waitlist, and what is the possibility for a past transfer student who got accepted into Lehigh after getting waitlisted?

What is campus culture like?

So Lehigh is my dream school (hoping to ED in the fall!) and I've visited it a ton, but what does the campus culture look like? I do not party and if I go I will commute. I do want to join clubs and form study groups though in order to be social. Is Lehigh a good campus for somebody like me? I'm socially awkward and I don't really know how to talk to people and I have a tendency to obsess over things. But I can be quite social and I do have some friends/acquaintances in all my classes this year. Also is Lehigh cutthroat? My high school is kind of cutthroat and extremely competitive, and I just hate that type of environment. Thanks everyone!

Transfer student financial aid issue

I was accepted to the Lehigh college of engineering for computer engineering today for the class of 29’, but when I checked my financial aid they expect me to pay $69,000 a year in direct expenses. I tried so hard to get in and it is really a slap in the face when my parents are divorced and my single mom only makes around 90k a year. How do they expect me to pay 3/4 of my mom’s salary when she isn’t even helping me pay for college? I was just wondering if anyone had advice on how to potentially get more aid or if I am just out of luck. Any advice would be appreciated.

Calculus at Lehigh

Tomorrow is the AP calculus AB exam. My grade in that class is a C average which isn’t good of course. I would have to get a 4/5 in order to receive credit at Lehigh. However I’m not super confident I can get a 4 and I’ll most likely get a 3. Even if I do get a 4, should I retake calc 1 anyways? I’m not doing great in my class, so I feel as though jumping to calc 2 will just tank my grades since I don’t know how hard Lehigh calculus classes are.

for context i have a 3.22 UW GPA (cooked af i know), after senior year first semester assuming i get straight As it'll be 3.33. weighted after senior year will be around 3.7. for context i go to a very rigorous school (def known to colleges) and students from my school have gotten into NYU with lower GPAs and lower SAT (i have a 1420 rn, retaking and aiming for 1500+). i would say i have rlly rlly good ECs that all align REALLY well with intended major (poli sci)

i was wondering which school id have a higher chance at EDing to and which one I should ED vs ED2 to. i know both schools are very competitive (dont fry me in the comments) but im not gonna ED to a mediocre school and i have very safe backups in my college list for EA/RD so ya. any help would be useful!! ty!

I’m flying into Philadelphia Airport and need to get to Lehigh University (Bethlehem). Trying to figure out the easiest/cheapest way to get there using public transport.

Are there any decent bus options from the Philly airport to Bethlehem/Lehigh? Or do I have to go into the city first and then take a bus from there?

Also:

  • What’s the best route people usually take?
  • How different are things on weekdays vs weekends?
  • Any tips to avoid getting stuck with long waits between connections?
