Lebanese man removes Israeli flag from Beaufort Castle in South Lebanon, following Israeli withdrawal
youtube.comThe 7 eradicated shia villages (1948) of "Palestine"
Before 1948 the line between north Palestine and south Lebanon wasn't meaningful in daily life, The Shia villages of the upper Galilee was closely tied to south Lebanon which is also called Jabal 3amel.
Families from these villages were intermarried and also were relatives and traded throughout history and were 1 they also shared the same religious leaders and had the same culture. And these villages weren't isolated but were an extension of south Lebanon shia community.
Some of these villages are Saliha Hula Qadas Tarbikha Qadas (socially and religiously connected to south lebanon)
During the 1948 Israel depopulated these villages and ethnically cleansed them towards south Lebanon and took over their lands. The only thing that makes them different than the other groups of British mandate Palestine is that they crossed directly to south Lebanon as they are an extension of south Lebanon shia community and they got the Lebanese citizenship.
It was easy as they shared religion dialect culture and even blood and families.
And to this days the descendants of these Lebanese people still say that they are from these villages and still identify by them.
