Best latex project so far ...

I made a new outfit combo for u/luna_C_D and I'm proud and amazed how well it fits her.

Latex Harness I feel like take more work than most peices, I'm really happy with how my Bubblegum Sweetheart Harness turned out

Nearly all the straps are laminated .4mm to thicken to .8mm, and stabilizer fabric on the back straps where the buckle adjusters are

Hi all! Thought I’d share my latest creation. Some background information first. I’m someone who wears a corset everyday for 6-12 hours and I’ve also been making latex crafting videos for 4 years now so I thought it was about time to combine my two hobbies!

I wanted to make a corset that can take my waist in 6” as that is quite close to my daily reduction. Since latex is so stretchy I reinforced it with rubberized fabric and a non-stretch cotton twill waist tape. I also used spiral steel boning and a steel busk. A lot of the techniques were applied from traditional corsetry but some of my choices, like spiral steel boning and the 6” waist reduction are somewhat rare in latex corsets. I believe most latex designers want to avoid metal as much as they can so they often use flat plastic boning. However, those would not have worked for this corset as it is so curvy and the bones need to follow the contours of my hips.

Most off-the-rack corsets usually give up to 4” reduction to your waistline and this is because cinching down more than that might require consistent corset wearing so there’s really not that big of a market for latex tightlacing corsets. Also, with lighter waist reductions the patterns are not that difficult to deal with and you can get away with using straight plastic boning. In other words, once you start making curvy corsets like this, things get complicated and you’d have to charge a lot of money for the time and effort that goes into making something like this. This project took me nearly two months!

I could keep going on about this topic forever. I made a YouTube video tutorial for how to make the patterns yourself so the corset fits your body perfectly, how to laminate the latex panels, instert the boning, busk and grommets, etc. I don’t know if I’m allowed to link it here but check out my profile and you should be able to find my channel from there.

Let me know your thoughts!

How can I install sock clips or strap adjustment clips

As you can see there’s clearly sock snaps and metal strap adjusters but I thought metal and latex don’t get along? Thanks for the help!

The hole is about 6 inches, its behind the seam. Id like to slavage this if possible and i think that hole is too big to patch. My only thought is cut the sleeve off and make it a sleeveless leotard. How would one do this? Im guessing id have to reinforce the new arm hole some how as well? Any advice is appreciated.
