Just installed LainOS on a beat up old laptop.

It had Windows 10 on it, previously.

Installing it was a little more complicated than the average installation process, compared to say Mint or Fedora - but I got through it.

Close the world, Open the Next

Yes I made more than three (just kept drawing over them). Yes ima have to remake most of them when the game officially comes out. I COULDNT HELP MYSELF! Disregard the shirt personalities that’s random. But I made lain, Alice, rakka, niea, mayuko, Ichise, and ran!

I recently got this console and decided to customize it based on one of my favorite pieces of media! The hardest part was waiting for the shell to arrive and applying the stickers (which, as you can see, I cut by myself 😞).

A week ago, I posted a video of the prototype, and now it’s time to share some new updates.

Over the past couple of days, I’ve been thinking about what the game’s locations should look like. Initially, I planned to incorporate the context of the audio messages from the original game and use them as a basis for recreating the setting in which the events take place. You can see the results of these attempts in the last two screenshots.

However, I later decided to abandon this approach because it didn’t capture the atmosphere of the original 1998 game.

As you can see in the second and third screenshots, the locations will consist of scenes that the player will explore. The background environment is intended to represent the Life Instinct Function OS.

This isn’t a final decision yet, but for now I’m focused on developing this particular concept.
