I am thinking of boosting my k20 7th gen civic, and I usually drive mountain/track stuff. So I wanted to ask what people thought of different exhaust manifold setups?
Is sidewinder still the best in a track setup? I know it aims for peak power, but would you ever want a log manifold for low end torque? I haven’t seen a dynograph between the two to really put the numbers on paper. So any help is appreciated
I’m putting everything back together. Is this normal? It’s a new guide and Bolt is tightened down already. Tensioner released

Hello all, I have a k24 swap first gen crv, retained ps and ac. Full size stock rsx radiator, oem tstat. When cruising on relatively flat ground at 70 with ac off. Outside temps ranging from 75-85, jay is consistently over 100 I’d like to do a proper cold air intake, thinking that would help coolant temps sit anywhere between 202-208, ik it’s not overheating but I’d like for it to run a little cooler. When I first got the swap done cruising for 10-15 miles at a time it would climb over 195 with ac off. System has been bled several times, I am bypassing heater core currently after finding out it leaks but the line isn’t pinched or anything. What are your temps for those who are swapped?
