So I want to paint my clan tartan pattern on my car, but I can’t find any decent tutorials on YouTube that aren’t jokes about plaid paint. Does anyone have any suggestions or can give me a simple step by step way of doing it properly? It’ll likely be done with automotive aerosol paint and frog tape, and then clear coated.

After corticosteroids caused me to pile on pounds, I was chuffed to lose 25kg when I weaned off them – and now that my jacket fits, again, I find that it has been attacked by moths, during the intervening years of non wear!🤦🏻‍♂️ I need a replacement, therefore – but I’m loathe to buy a new one, until my weight has stabilised. For this reason, I’m thinking of going down the ex-hire, or pre-owned, route…

I happen to be flying up to Edinburgh, tomorrow, for 48hrs, and am looking for recommendations – please – for where I might find either a Prince Charlie Coatee, or a Montrose Doublet, which may be worn with kilt or trews. I have an important Bomb Alley Survivors Club (the Officers of HMS BROADSWORD, Falkland Islands, 1982) reunion dinner, next month, so would really like to square this away before then!
