Hey, quick question for streamers.

Right now most donation tools (Streamlabs, etc.) still rely on platforms where:

• payments go through a third party
• you deal with fees / delays / chargebacks

I’m exploring a simple alternative:

• donations go directly to your wallet
• no platform holding funds
• no withdrawals needed
• real-time on-stream alerts (like usual)

The tradeoff: it would use crypto under the hood.

My questions:

• Would you ever consider something like this?
• What would stop you from using it?
• Do your viewers ever ask for crypto donation options?

Not selling anything, just trying to figure out if this solves a real problem.

I’ve finally launched Kick Whispers, an idea I’ve wanted to try for a while. Right now, it’s in beta, and only 250 people can sign up for free, with limited features like messaging and chat. I’m looking for a few people to test the extension and share their feedback here, since this is the first version. The main goal is to get your thoughts on the UI/UX and find any bugs. Here are a few things you should know:

In the free version:

• Chats are not saved
• 5 chats and 25 messages for ever 24hr
• shows who is connected and live using DMs

*IMPORTANT

The steps to use it are quite simple. Just download the extension, press connect, authenticate with your Kick account, and you are good to go. To send messages, search for that person in the username box and DM. Both parties need the extension. You can send them a message if they don't have it, but it won't work. So make sure y'all are using it.

So I've been streaming for about a year now and have found it quite difficult to build an audience for single player RPGs on Kick. This is my genre of choice and regardless of how entertaining I try to make the stream, viewership just doesn't come easy.

I multistream across platforms including Kick and have put a ton of effort into my setup, but the discoverability for this genre just isn't there.

Looking to connect with other RPG streamers on Kick — titles like Final Fantasy, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Granblue Fantasy Relink etc.

What steps have you taken to reach an audience for single player RPG content on Kick? And are there any RPG streamers here who'd be open to mutually supporting each other?

Years ago, before Kick had much of a name I put out a chrome extension that I found useful as it would easily allow me to see the top streamers at the time and click to instantly watch without needing to navigate to the website itself.

Over time I was always hoping the Kick API would allow me to create a proper "following" tab where I could log in and it would show the list of my following.. but unfortunately years later its still not possible.. so I came up with another idea.

I recently updated Kick Direct so you could manually input the streamers you want to follow by username, a bit annoying but satisfying that itch iv had for a long while!

I welcome anyone coming across this post to give it a shot. its super light weight (99.31KiB) and is awesome at providing some stream popularity insight as to what's going on at Kick.

all feedback is always welcome! fun reviving the project and kind of shocking some people have stuck with it for so long (thanks to those of you!).

are you using one donation method or multiple? Trying to figure out what actually works best for getting consistent support.

*CROSSPOST (of my own post XD)* Hey all I am a newer streamer on twitch and Kick and I will occasionally save my vids to my YouTube channel. The thing is my current overlay I am using isn't fitting my vibe for my channel as (once I get a new webcam) my vtube avatar is based around a person being experimented on in a lab. So getting to my question is there anything out there that is free that I can get a different overlay? I currently use OBS/StreamElements and I am loving this combo better than OBS/StreamLabs. Another thing is there a way to fix my alerts they broke in the transition between from StreamLabs to StreamElements. I have no clue what went wrong!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

When i open Kick no matter how this is always what i see. Can't watch any stream there. Did i do something wrong to make it like that?
