Now that the legislative tenure of the present assembly is about to end, a particular conspiracy about 2022 presidential election in context of Kerala keeps me curious.

For 2022 Presidential Elections, as everyone is aware the contest was between then former Jharkhand governor Draupadi Murmu and former cabinet minister Yashwant Sinha.

As expected, Kerala MPs and MLAs were supposed to vote in favor of Yashwant Sinha.

As the results were announced, to the surpise of many, one representative voted in favor of President Murmu.

At the time of results,

Many assumed it to be minister K Krishnankutty or Pala MLA Mani C Kappan voting in favor of President Murmu.

Though I feel the representative to vote in favor of NDA candidate was Kuthuparamba MLA KP Mohanan.

When I asked this doubt to a former 2024 Lok Sabha candidate who contested from a major party, initially he was not sure who would have voted for him, but when I mentioned the name of Kuthuparamba MLA, he mentioned in his case the chances are higher.

any other guesses on who voted for President Murmu from Kerala?
