New Convict Colosseum chapter will be releasing this Saturday
Hey guys 👋 Sorry it took like 3 months lol, but the chapter is finally coming out. Just wanted to give a heads up, 'cuz I feel like there's a higher chance of accidentally getting spoiled when it just drops out of the blue.
I'll touch a little more on why it took so long in the actual chapter post, but mostly just been busy, among other things. So yeah, see you all on Saturday, hopefully! ✌️
Tier list of the CC R1 matches. Agree or disagree?
Since I finished to read the R1, here's my thoughts on the matches
Tbh, I think Beatdown vs BW isn't at the level of the other 3 but Beatdown is so GOATed that I have to place it here, plus all the dance stuff choregraphy is cool
Its kinda hilarious how animation unfriendly Pete's design is
I mean between the plaid shirt, cowboy hat, and his long luscious locks of hair he would already be a hard character to animate
but then combine that with his insanely fast and acrobatic fighting style and it becomes hilariously how much of a nightmare he would be to animate
Here are some trivia and statistics regarding everyone's favorite ROACH! (Contains spoilers for latest chapter)
He took 284 clean hits in total over the course of the 5 matches he participated in.
By comparison Pete took only 15 clean hits (9 clean ones to be exact, but clean or partially blocked 15 hits that dealt major damage), 13 of which were against El Cucaracho himself.
Florida Man, who the 2nd most amount of clean hits, took 106 (at one point vs LH, GIAB and Pete respectively he took a barrage which was hard to count properly).
That's a an average of ≈ 57 per match.
By rounds it went as follows:
- R1: 5
- R2: 44
- R3: 37
- R4: 63
- R5: 135
He evaded 65 hits in total over the course of the 5 matches he participated in.
That's an average of = 13 per match.
By rounds it went as follows:
- R1: 0
- R2: 0
- R3: 2
- R4: 15
- R5: 48
The amount of panels in his matches are 2.951 in total.
That's an average of ≈ 590 panels per match.
By rounds it is as follows:
- R1: 74
- R2: 248
- R3: 332
- R4: 592
- R5: 1.705
Meaning that R5 alone was longer than all his other matches put together. The same goes for Pete. The finals are also longer than all the 2nd-4th longest matches put together (the semi-finals matches and Florida Man vs. The God in a Box).
His failed attempts on his own life includes, but is likely not limited to:
- engaging the Mexican military
- shooting himself
- getting shot with a gun
- lethal injection
- mercenary sniper
- chained to a massive anchor and dropped into the ocean
- being "submerged" in concrete
- crashing a plane
Updated power tier list. Decided to add some forms for fun too. Feel free to disagree/agree
Strongest CHARACTER in all of fiction you think all of the convicts minus the finalist can beat?
Probably my favorite panel in cc
This is when therapist lady was recalling cucarachos backstory and I think this reactions pretty funny
This probably won't go anywhere from an artwork perspective but I'm posting the match-up to get y'all's thoughts on the possibility
If Jack Grimm from absolute Batman took a fighter from cc to the kengan matches which one would he choose?
Someone PLEASE make this with Convict Colosseum characters
id do it but I can't draw for shit
for Thrag its gotta be El Cucaracho and the skull has got to be the Samoan with his tattoo on the cheek bone
Conquest gotta be Florida Man
and for the others I got nothing
James slander has left the lookism sub
Giving every chapter in Convict Colosseum a unique title
Because every chapter having no title kind of makes it boring to look at on Mangadex.
I used quotes or paraphrased quotes from the chapters in question just mainly because fuck if I'm actually going to think up of 83 wholly unique names for chapters. I also chose these names with the idea that the reader would see the chapter's name before reading the chapter in full, so I tried to make them enticing without being full-on spoilers (so if the best quote from the chapter isn't the title, that's why).
