This story is very similar to the Jesse Simpson case in 2007. Once again, we have another douchebag claiming he was “protecting” his house from kids, and an innocent bystander ends up getting hurt. A professional baseball player attacking a 16-year-old is completely unacceptable. He’s lucky the injuries were minor—this could have easily ended with someone seriously hurt or a life changed forever.

Hello, I hope everyone is having a good day. I recently got accepted into TRU law. and was wondering if anyone has opinions or expereinces they can share regarding the program and city. I am trying to decide between TRU or UNB. I have lived most of my life in NL, so "small" cities don't bother me, and I am open to working in the west or east coast really dont have a preference. Would appreciate any feedback!

Anyone with a Chinese Elm in their yard who wants it gone for good should be able to call the city and make an appointment for a team of arborists to come out and take it down to nothing, free of charge.

Does anyone know of there will be any Long Table Dinner style events in Kamloops this summer to watch out for? I went to the Wild Blue one in Whistler last year and loved it.
