Cheesing A locked V1.2
I got a ktuner for dirt cheap of marketplace, and obviously it's locked. I've seen whispers of a method to unlock them but never have been able to find more info. I have an extremely tech Savvy friend helping me, and I was wondering if any of yall have had success with locked units. I looked into the VIN and to me it doesn't seem like it was stolen, if that helps. I had one Idea to use a VIN simulator to trick the tuner into thinking it was on the original car to unlock it.
Also if by some absurd chance of fate the original owner of the unit happens to see this post, please reach out. The car it was on was a 2016 accord coupe, I believe.
