KU or Kstate
I don’t post on here often so I don’t quite understand the format of everything, but I’m a high school student from the KC area looking at both KU and Kstate. Ive been a Kstate fan my whole life but KU seems to have a lot of fun things to do as well. I’m looking to do Kinesiology on the pre-med track and Ive basically heard that it doesn’t matter where your undergraduate degree is before something like KU med. I value student life and am introvert who’s a little more outgoing than the rest of introverts as I wanna have a fun time in college and I appreciate both small town and big city vibes. So my question to you all is what school did you like better, what are the differences, and what do you all recommend?
Looking for an Apartment
Hi,
I'm moving to Manhattan, Kansas for a year long (2 semesters) program at KState. I'm looking for a place that's either in walking distance (less than a 25 min walk) to the University or has a convenient bus route, because I won't have a car. I'm a 24 year old woman. If this place was already furnished with a bed, kitchen appliances, and a washer/dryer, I would be so happy. I would prefer a 1 bed or studio, but I'm okay with roommates, if we can agree to keep the shared spaces clean (sinks, dishes, toilet, shower). I'm kinda allergic to dogs/animals that shed a lot, so pet free would be better. I'm planning to come late August. And my budget for rent and utilities combined is between $600-850. Suggestions, thoughts, and opinions are welcome.

Hey, all! I’m doing a hybrid masters of music through K-State and will spend about two weeks on campus in June as part of the program. I’ve never been before.
How bikable is the campus? Are there bike lanes or bike-friendly paths? Bike theft was a big issue in my undergrad- is it an issue in Manhattan? I always carry a cable lock, but once had someone cut all the way through it.
Thankful for any K-State cycling advice you’re able to offer!!!
Is everyone's Canvas still down? I keep checking mine with no luck☹️
Did anyone bring their PCs to college? I’m entering my freshman year at Kstate this fall and was wondering if it’s a bad idea to bring my computer.
Yes I do have a laptop, and my pc case is a FormD T1 so it’s small and inconspicuous. I also checked and my desk will be fairly large. But would it be weird to bring one? And would I have the time to use it? I figured I could bring a 32” monitor and also use it as a tv if I wanted because my desk sits at the end of my bed.
