The number of posts on this topic are overflowing and it's understandable as we are all traumatized. We all wanted Akashdeep back and Ekta maa did listen to us. However, we wanted him back with facial hair and not looking like an alien.

Also, for season 1 veterans, it sort of didn't hit us as much seeing Tulsi shocked. Reason is, we've already seen her feel that way when she saw Eklavya. So it sort of didn't strike a chord.

I hope they bring back his facial hair. That excitement to see him just fizzled.

Next, I hope they don't bring back Mandira with orange hair or something.

I've never laughed so much.

It’s clear now that audience is not going to accept ansh’s son being played by Akash deep. Too old.

If they want to keep using the actor to play this character, perhaps they could have a backstory around him having some genetic defect that caused him to age much faster. And then maybe even have a track where Rio dies due to this disease. At least it would make the casting more believable.

We all agree that the looks and casting of Ansh in this was terribly done. Maybe they would improve the looks in the upcoming episodes.

But one thing I completely disagree with some people here who cringed over Tulsi’s acting today. I am sorry but she was absolutely phenomenal. This is exactly how your first reaction would be on seeing a dead son alive and her dialogue delivery in the phone call with Karan was top notch. In fact her powerful acting was so evident that as soon as the scene shifted to Munni and Hritik, you could literally see how underwhelming they are.

Noina gave an absolutely amazing performance in the character she played but I don’t think she has this much versatility to nail both soft emotional scenes and loud overdramatic scenes with equal elan.

A lot of things are and will be wrong with this show, but Tulsi’s acting and screen presence has always been top notch. This show literally is what it is because of her supported by some other OG characters like Mihir, Karan etc.

First things first- NO- Any random actor Pearl this that or whoever CAN NOT play Ansh’s son or himself or his brother in this season.

I’m sorry I’m seeing a lot of this debate and I need to know HOW and WHAT shock value, iconic arc return, or call back this does to OG Tulsi and season 1 wrt to casting another actor…

Coming to the point of this post- put in your best creative arcs to reintroduce Akashdeep Saigal as Ansh/ Rio Jio for the ultimate (yet what became a clownfest of) climax today due to bad writing and styling…

Here’s Mine:

1. Since Ekta was the pioneer of bringing dead back to life brains aside - easiest way was to make this character comeback as Ansh himself who survived the single most iconic bullet of Tulsi and death, and was found years later by Karan living with no memory of past. He had somehow come to Mumbai and Karan does his best so his maa and wife don’t see him. Add moral dilemma of stepson not letting mother know her own blood is alive.

2. Viranis are famous and rich and a big family, this actor plays Ansh’s age and is a random duplicate whom a villain like RV finds out randomly and uses this dupe to fool and traumatize Karan into paying him $ to keep him away to not traumatize Nandini and Tulsi. Ultimately he finds too much about Ansh and double crosses RV to make everyone believe he’s Ansh.

3. NOINA plays the same as idea above since Tulsi herself gave her the backstory of killing her son while ousting her from Shantiniketan. She already tried to use Gomzi too so why not an Ansh lookalike to just give her trauma this time and possibly make TuHir fight showing Mihir might show mercy to his blood. She plays that it’s their Ansh for climax reveal it was just a lookalike.

4. Just use the same freaking look and styling of Ansh they gave Sky in Naagin 2 months ago 😡 and make him look less troll worthy than the clown show today.

What could you have done and think can still do to make today’s messy face off better? 🧐🥳

Bro seriously that Rio looks way more older than his father and grandfather Mihir. Pls ab pta lag gaya na voh Ansh ka beta hai uska accident karo uska plastic surgery karao kuch bhi karo but uski age ka koi laao. Ekta Kapoor once again proved ki uska show uski marzi uske show mai kuch bhi ho sakta.

Tbh it was damn funny and cringe to seeing him and calling Karan as Papa and that woman as Maa 😭🤣🤣🤣

Casting akashdeep was Right decision but it should be with long hairs & beard who actually looks like old ansh. Now what they made a big mistake clean shave he looks nothing like ansh & 2nd why they shown him as soon of ansh dude looks too old. See Gomzi he still looks tulsi son but I don't know whose idea was it to remove beard from akashdeep & make him son of ansh or karan 🤣🤣. I mean common man who in their right mind think this can work. Please grow his beard 1st of all

In this age and era, I hope they don't show Rio raping someone. I don't think I have tolerance or strength to watch that storyline. It's trauma inducing even just for an act.

I was shocked beyond doubt when I saw the intro showing his wrinkled under eyes! Who in their right mind casts a 50 yo as a 20 yo! Akashdeep already played Eklavya 20 years back but that time he was younger so it was kinda okay. Can’t believe how did Ekta even pull this casting! Someone younger like Pearl would have been lot better. Also why did Karan clean shave🤣 He legit looks like Rio’s son
