How much does KL University tag affect off-campus opportunities in tech/cybersecurity? ( vja campus)

I’m considering joining KL University for BTech (probably Cybersecurity/CSE related branch), and I wanted honest opinions from seniors/alumni working in tech.

How much does the KL tag affect:

off-campus internship shortlisting,

resume filtering,

product-based company opportunities,

and overall career growth compared to colleges like VIT/SRM?

Does the college name become a major disadvantage later, or can skills/projects compensate well enough?

Please be brutally honest. I’d really appreciate real experiences instead of marketing answers.

KL University seniors — how realistic are placements and product-based opportunities? ( vja campus)

I’m thinking about joining KL University and wanted genuine placement insights from current students/alumni.

I wanted to know:

what the REAL highest packages are (not just brochure numbers),

how many good product-based companies actually visit,

how many students usually get those opportunities,

and what the realistic average outcome is for a hardworking student.

Also, are placements mostly mass recruiters or are there genuinely strong tech opportunities too?

Would really appreciate honest answers.

Need Hyderabad engineering college suggestions for management quota under 12–13 lakh total budget

My parents cannot afford huge donations. Our maximum budget is around 12–13 lakhs total including college fees as much as possible.

I may not get a good TS EAMCET rank, so I am looking for decent engineering colleges in Hyderabad through management quota/B-category. Mainly interested in CSE

How good is KL University specifically for Cybersecurity? (Vja campus)

I’m interested in pursuing Cybersecurity at KL University and wanted honest opinions from seniors or alumni.

How good is the cybersecurity branch in terms of:

faculty,

labs,

practical exposure,

internships,

clubs/CTFs,

and placements?

Do students mostly rely on self-learning, or does the university actually help build a strong cybersecurity profile?

Also, how supportive is the environment for students seriously interested in cyber?

What's safaris btw?

Hey everyone,

I’m planning to join KL University Hyderabad (CSE Core) and I’m really confused after seeing mixed reviews online.

Some people are saying placements are good and the college is very structured, but many are saying it’s extremely strict (like school), with dress code, attendance rules, limited freedom, etc.

I wanted honest opinions from current students or recent graduates:

- How strict is it actually in daily life?

- Does it feel suffocating or manageable?

- Are placements genuinely good or just average?

- Is Bachupally campus better than Aziz Nagar?

- Overall, is it worth joining for CSE considering the fees?

Please share real experiences (pros + cons). I want to make a practical decision.

Thanks!

I’m planning to join KL University Online MCA with the Cloud Computing specialization.
The total fees seem to be around ₹65k–₹70k, which fits my budget.

I wanted honest feedback from current students or alumni about:

How the online classes actually work
Teaching quality and support
Exam difficulty and flexibility
Whether the degree is worth it

Also, I’m not getting proper responses from the official website/admissions team.
If anyone has direct contacts for counselors, coordinators, or admission support, please share them or DM me.
Would really appreciate genuine opinions before I enroll. Thanks!

🙏🏻 am working as QA engineer ! Done my bca now planning to do MCA
