See, here's my thing. In the first one, they said he was James Marsden, so no prob, but this time they said they said that Alex Bonifer was "Dougie jr". If it was me, I wouldve recognized him immediately from Kevin Can F Himself and I would've recognized Stephanie Hodge from Nurses back in the day. Do they just roll the dice that these people won't recognize anyone?! So weird.

Pretending for a second that it was me instead of Anthony:

The only person in the main cast of Company Retreat I recognized is Emily Pendergast, but I feel like if I asked her "has anyone told you you remind them of >!Jonah's Wife/Sister!<from Veep?" and she said "yes I've heard that before" I probably would have bought it and moved on.

The only cast member that I recognized beyond a shadow of a doubt is Ian Roberts. But IDK if I would have called him out in front of everyone. If, during the hike to find Dougie, I had asked him to hang back for a second and asked him privately "hey man, I took classes at UCB, I know who you are" do you think he would have been like "yeah that's me, the Everest guy is a character I'm working on and I'm trying it out at different company retreats, can you keep it quiet for me?" I feel like that maybe would have worked on me.

They show it in the show and audio commentary, but they never show how he actually responded.

I was watching a commentary video on company retreat and when it came to the part where they walked in on the corps “plan” the person honestly made a good point.

What happens if Anthony just says “you should’ve read the fine print dude” 😭

You can’t really cast for that specifically but I feel like it would be really interesting to see a neutral/good hearted “I’m just here for x” character. I know that’s basically Ronald but even he started going along with the shenanigans.

Basically a character who technically failed but not in an evil way. Idk if that makes sense.

I would totally watch a show with these characters (like as a real show, similar to The Office). Specifically this cast though. I was so invested in their stories. Haha. (Anthony can learn to act and play the “not so temp…temp).

The premise could be PJ is offered a Documentary deal after a big producer hears his podcast. PJ pitches the idea to show what goes on at a medium size hot sauce office.

The show could be called “Sauced”

Not sure if this idea has been pitched already but my husband and I were talking about potential plot ideas and I think a community theatre production would be absolutely hilarious. Unsure of what the central conflict would be but the potential characters you could get from that (who could also be strangers for the most part would be so funny. You could even have another actual celebrity guest star if you wanted. For the central issue I guess you could maybe have that the theater is going to get knocked down or defunded or that the director was secretly bad in some way.

I am guessing clicking fingers is to show appreciation but do people really do that? I have never seen that before.

Like Ron goes home, meets up with his friends, somebody asks, “So, how Jury Duty?”

“Well, let me tell you…….”

I would never believe that story 😂
