Bounce Tales but everything is written X

Enjoy! What I did to make it write everything X! I deleted all the lang files except lang.te-IN and this what resulted. I originally wanna play Bounce Tales in different languages without changing my device language.

Maybe some of you know a Burnout game for J2ME exists, it has a 2D version and a 3D one (this time we are going to focus on the 3D one), well, this one is a strange case, where the Nokia version of the game is far superior from his Sony Ericsson counterpart, see for yourself.

The S60 3ed version of the game adds weather changes to every race, shadows to the map objects and cars, and, the most badass extra thing for me, a slow-motion effect when you make your enemy's car crash or explode (although you can disable it in the game's options menu).

How is this glitch even possible?

And ignore all the sounds that is not music, because I forgot to change the Screen Recording settings to System Sounds.

Decided to try the 176x208 version. The light and shadow game play is good. And the only java splinter cell you can pick up dead bodies.

Hey everyone! I'm looking for a Java game called Seasweeper that came preinstalled on the Nokia 6700 Classic (RM-470) and Nokia 6600i Slide. It's a naval-themed Minesweeper variant. Can't find it anywhere online (archive, org or sites like Phoneky/Dedomil) as a standalone .jar file. Does anyone have it or can extract it from the phone firmware then send it to me? Thanks!

Devil my cry for Sony Ericsson running well on S60 devices, I took this from some files that were published a few days ago.

Did Nikita (creator of J2ME Loader) prefered this?

Why in J2ME Loader, when a game music loops, it stops about 1 second, and then loops again, stops about 2 seconds in some J2ME games. But in an actual Nokia phone and in a soundfont, it loops perfectly, no gap!

I have a small collection of feature phone and symbian smartphones and have already tested them in several java benchmarks so I could share the results with the community

I just finished a port of mini-rv32ima to J2ME and succesfully ran it in an emulator. It uses only 512 kb of ram and 32 mb of storage, basically simulating the missing ram. It can easily be configured to use even less ram than 512 kb by changing a single line in the code. However, the only phone with more than 32 mb of storage I have is the Samsung SGH-E590 which for some reason does not let me install J2ME apps, even though it comes with some preinstalled games that are J2ME. If anyone has a phone that meets these requirements, please test it!
Here is the source: Cucuzacu/Linux2ME: Run Linux on old J2ME phones!.
You can download the jar here: Release Linux2ME · Cucuzacu/Linux2ME.
Thanks!

Hey everyone,

I recently started working on Sonic-J2ME-Web, a project focused on bringing the old 2005 Sonic The Hedgehog J2ME game to modern browsers.

Instead of using emulation, the idea is to recreate the Java ME environment in TypeScript and progressively port the original game logic to a custom HTML5 Canvas/WebAudio runtime.

Current goals:

  • J2ME compatibility layer
  • Accurate gameplay behavior
  • Original assets and level structure
  • Browser save support
  • Mobile + gamepad support later on

The project is based mainly on these decompilation efforts:

Still early in development, but the architecture is already being structured.

Would love feedback from people interested in:

  • reverse engineering
  • Java ME preservation
  • Sonic fangame/dev communities
  • browser game engines
  • old mobile gaming

what I remember

• It was a vertical scrolling shoot-’em-up

  • Your plane automatically shot
  • The plane was a normal-looking white aircraft like the f 22
  • The graphics were really good for a Nokia game
  • I clearly remember a cyborg / mechanical scorpion boss just like urgot from league of legends but red and big
  • There was also a stage where the screen became tight, so you couldn’t move much to the left or right
