I bought my first house a little over a year ago. Last fall I went back to my childhood home and grabbed some rhizomes from these irises that grew on our farm since as long as I can remember. They're blooming so happily right now!

I've called them 'the root beer flowers' since I was a kid. I don't know why, they just always made me think of root beer. Does anyone know what they're actually called? So excited to have them growing again in the yard that I live in.
