Hello people. I need industry specific advice. I'll keep it short.

I'm a chartered accountant who is now working in automations. Basically, my goal is to reduce manual workflows in Excel, PowerBI to save time, costs and errors in businesses.

Right now, I'm thinking of entering into the healthcare and insurance industry, as I know these are really data heavy and lack both financial and technical expertise.

My question is I don't really know what repeated workflows people in insurance deal with, that cost them a lot of unnecessary time, money and manpower.

I need to understand these processes to get better at knowing what exactly am I looking at.

We do Excel Automation, business dashboards, RAG systems, email/whatsapp automation and more.

So in what major processes can these services fit in?

Appreciate it!

Common reasons renewals get delayed in insurance agencies — and how proper follow-up systems prevent them.

One thing I noticed supporting insurance agencies remotely: renewals rarely get delayed because of overloaded admin work and agents juggling lead generation, closing clients, and paperwork all at the same time.

A simple renewal tracking process changes everything:
• Follow-up timelines
• Clear ownership
• Organized remarking
• Prioritized accounts
• Consistent client communication

Good systems reduce stress for both the agency and the insured.

Thoughts or experiences with Kin Insurance home insurance?

Shopping arround for a new home insurance carrier and thinking of going with them for home insurance, I've seen them in ads and such before but I'm asking to see if anyone has any experiences with them or used them before or anything of the sort.

Would you recommend them? Are they good?

Any experiences or thoughts would be very helpful.

Insurance Broker Quoting me but can’t see the company?

So I’m shopping around car insurance for my wife and I (first time), and I call a local broker to compare quotes for me. She gives me three different quotes, one higher than what I pay now so we scrapped that, one barely lower (gave me the companies name), but on the lowest premium she said she’s not able to see certain companies names when comparing quotes. She said this can be normal and is not a red flag, should I be worried or shop elsewhere? Thanks!

Mobile home insurance France -

Afternoon

We are really struggling to find an insurance for our mobile home located on a site in France. We rent it out for 10 weeks and the other 40 weeks is residential.

We are not strong enough French speakers to phone so looking for a online company.

We have come up against we dont have a French bank account, the company dont cover mobile homes or the company dont cover rental properties.

Any ideas 😄
