Phil Berger Jr. is guilty as charged when it comes to rubberstamping the NC GOP's agenda in our general assembly. As of April 2026, the North Carolina Supreme Court holds a 5–2 Republican majority - firmly conservative, with real influence over the state’s legal direction.
What can we do to change this balance? That starts with re-electing Anita Earls back to her seat on the NC Supreme Court. Show up in November, vote all the way down the ballot, including for judges like Justice Earls! W/O fair judges, democracy is truly in the balance! #ncpol #nccourts #judges

DEMOCRACY IN THE BALANCE: North Carolina’s court system—formally the General Court of Justice—is a masterclass in structured escalation: from “what happened?” to “was that legally correct?” Check out our latest carousel to learn the ins and outs of the NC court system. The court system in NC deals with everything from traffic tickets, divorce and custody issues, to worker's comp and civil rights. These issues - dealt with fairly - can uplift us and make our lives better. Dealt with UNFAIRLY, our lives become a living hell. We must pay attention to who is elected to our courts! Justice Earls has proven by her actions and her values that she is a fair and her focus is serving the people of North Carolina.

Instead, park along the street on Rockspring Rd off of Westchester or in the parking lot to the side of DeBeen Espresso, 709 W. Lexington Ave.
Avoid walking across the parking lot of the office complex to get to the protest area. Walk on the “public” easement (7-10 feet from the street).
