Help me 😭😭

So there’s a girl in my coaching (X) that I genuinely have a crush on. I barely talked to her directly yet, but her friend (Z) randomly approached me a few times during coaching. Once she told me sir was coming late, another time she helped us while we were searching for a pen cap and smiled when I thanked her. So overall the vibe with Z is pretty normal/friendly.

Now the issue is: I sent a follow request to X on Instagram because we had mutuals through coaching, but she removed/rejected it. That kinda killed my confidence because she definitely knows I’m from coaching.

Now I’m confused what to do next.

My current thought process is to become better friends with Z naturally since we already talk a little, and through that maybe become more comfortable around their group and understand whether X is even interested or has a bf etc.

I genuinely need help here because I don’t want to come off as desperate, weird, or like I have no self respect after the rejected request. Can anyone genuinely tell me what the best move is from here?

I need some advice , I'm 20(m) from Delhi just downloaded redit need someone to talk

Right now, I’m honestly just taking things one day at a time. I don't entirely know what my current situation is going to look like months from now, so I’m keeping an open mind about dating. I could absolutely see myself jumping into a serious, long-term relationship if the right chemistry and connection click naturally between us. At the exact same time, I am totally down to just go with the flow, keep things casual, and enjoy the simple stuff—like a relaxed movie night on the couch with zero pressure.

I really just want to meet good people, share some genuine laughs, and see where things go organically without forcing a label on it right out of the gate. For me, the most important things are mutual comfort, kindness, and being able to be completely yourself. Whether we end up as close friends, casual hang partners, or something way deeper, I am just excited to see what happens. If you appreciate total honesty and a relaxed vibe, let's grab a drink or put on a good show and see how we get along.
