We plead/demand that AIFF and the AIFF League Committee change match timings immediately and shift kick-offs to after 7:00 PM (or at the very least, post-sunset slots).

Kolkata is currently in extreme summer conditions, with daytime temperatures regularly touching 40°C+ (and it feels even worse on the pitch). Yet we’re seeing IWL matches scheduled around 3:00 PM, with players expected to compete under direct sun.

That’s not “toughness” or “professionalism” - it’s unsafe and unnecessary.

Why this is a serious problem

  • Heat exhaustion / heatstroke risk goes up massively in midday kick-offs.
  • Dehydration + heat stress increases injury risk (muscle cramps, fatigue-related tackles, poor recovery).
  • We’re asking women footballers - already fighting for basic resources - to play in conditions many leagues globally would avoid.

We need to talk about Crystal

Is there any other referee that has made so many controversial calls and had so many clubs complain against him? NEUFC recent complaint is one in a long line of complaints by clubs like East Bengal, Odisha FC, Kerala Blasters. In the past some of his decisions have impacted Churchill Brothers, Punjab FC and Gokulam too.

All just smoke without fire?

19M starting football is it too late?

Hey, I’m 19M and want to start playing football seriously( just for the sake of sports ) during my college summer break. I’ve seen some academies nearby but they mostly have kids, which made me unsure.

Is it too late to start at my age? I just want to get good and enjoy the sport, not go pro.

Should I join those academies or look for something else?

How far Manipur football has fallen?

During the 2022-23 season we have both TRAU and NEROCA in the second tier of Indian Football then in 2023-24 both of them got relegated to 2024-25 I-League 2 when KLASA also came into the mix then at the end NEROCA and TRAU were almost relegated together but NEROCA best then 2-1 on the final day to survive and relegate trau so then in the 2025-26 NEROCA is the only Manipur clubs in the top three divisions while TRAU and KLASA both relegated to I-League 3 but its not over yet as after half the season is over in the 2025-26/2026 I-League 2 season,NEROCA are bottom with 1 point from 4 games, main problem being Goalscoring literally a player name Phujam Sanathoi Meitei has scored 2 out of their 3 goals this season.

Any places to play football in Himatnagar? ⚽

Looking for places to play football in Himatnagar.

I know about Sabarmati ground and colleges but it usually requires permission. Are there any open grounds or spots where people regularly play?

Also, if anyone here plays football and is looking for players, I’d be interested to join 👍

the club that has fell the most,Kenkre FC

in the 21-22 season of the IFL formerly I-league Kenkre finished bottom and were not relegated after an exemption, then in the very next season 22-23 Kenkre finished just ahead of bottom placed Sudeva Delhi FC.once again tried an exemption, wasnt given,so they got relegated to 23-24/2024 I-League 2 season in which they finished with 3 wins and 11 losses, and bottom and relegated to I-League 3 which they didnt win promotion, and now they are in the state leagues
